State of Decay showed gameplay though lol. For the third person shooting. It's using Unreal Engine 5. We are finally starting to see the fruits of their labor.
Apparently The Coalition has helped with the development too which is promising.
The Fable trailer was phenomenal, the Diablo cinematic was amazing, and the new Starfield content was also super exciting!!
Fable looks too good. Probably the best thing I've seen from Xbox ever.

Both gameplay and worldbuilding were standouts of the show for me. Hope it lives up to that impression.
Such a phenomenal show! So stoked for basically everything shown. FO76 and Fallout in general being hugely successful in a contemporary way is amazing, and the franchise absolutely deserves it .
Could Haley be any more wholesome and just fully of positivity (and honesty) - I'm sure that she has her moments, but she literally beams sunshine from every stream she's on. Oh, and Leo and JeffM are always great (sorry guys 🙂). Seriously - MinnMax is such a positively affirming channel. You should all be proud of yourselves.
Oh - and the showcase was pretty amazing (and I'm a PS fan). Gamers ate well today. Sony and Nintendo should learn (if they can afford to).
My god they went hard with that Diablo 4 cinematic, I was kinda bored at the beginning and then it went from 0 to 100.
Flight sim better have a hardcore mode where your beoing plane falls apart as you fly.
What about a rescue mission for a millionaire's submarine?
Pretty excited about Fable, I've never really touched the series but it looks fun

Hailey you need to play Doom Eternal!! It's almost a Metroid-like. It's something I might not have played either but it was almost my Goty only beat out by The Last of Us 2.

But agreed, Eternal was so fun but getting into the gameplay loop wasn't for everyone apparently since my friends mostly bounced off of it too lol.

That does make sense if they were expecting strictly the blasting hell spawn but it has more exploration and platforming etc
@@intense79nick Did it originally say "Beat Off"? I bet that's what it said 🤣 reminds me of an interview that Dan Stevens had on the UK news. One of the news readers makes a similar mistake saying he must have beat off a load of American men to get the role, meaning Beat out. Doesn't realise why everyone else starts uncontrollably laughing

This showcase was pretty insane. With Sony moving away from exclusives and Microsoft having so much to offer through their gamepass subscription then I can definitely see the playing field start to get wayy more even.
As a lifelong Playstation player, that absolutely slaughtered Playstation. Jim Ryan had really set Playstation up for failure under his leadership.
After this showcase and what Sony did to Helldivers 2, I might actually get an Xbox now.

Agree that PlayStation needs to have a proper showcase though. This Xbox showcase was great

setting the corpo filthiness of Microsoft aside for a moment, *Doom, Expedition 33, South of Midnight, Snake Eater, Flintlock, Age of Mythology Retold, Winter Burrow, Mixtape, Double Exposure, Mechabreak, Wuchang, AC Shadows, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2* & *Flight Sim Careers* all speak to me, and *Avowed* & *Perfect Dark* look surprisingly great. never thought they'd take *GEARS* back to E-Day, so that's a welcome surprise as well. can't believe almost zero gameplay for *Fable* again, and no gameplay for *Dragon Age* again, though, smh.
Same on Fable. I’m so surprised we didn’t get actual gameplay. Makes me think it might miss even a 2025 release:(
@@chadnoble2607we got some walking around, some talking interactions and some combat, albeit only the finishing animations. Not a proper slice of unedited gameplay like Perfect Dark or South of Midnight, but there was gameplay that you didn't have to squint to see (like the first trailer).
There were gameplay snippets in there. My bet is well either get a proper gameplay segment at TGA, or at the January Direct they'll inevitably have. Xbox tends to keep E3 for sizzle style trailers, and shows of deeper gameplay dives elsewhere.
Fable had gameplay. Just snippets though. Atleast we know how the game looks like when playing it.
Fable still has a bit of time for them to show gameplay, it is coming next year. I expect them to have deep dives and and all starting either in Gamescom or early next year. The one that did surprise not showing gameplay was Indiana Jones seeing how that is supposed to come out in 2024.
I expected DOOM to be amazing so my games of the show are Perfect Dark and Mixtape
Almost every game is coming to game pass. Which says to me i better stack up on 3 month subs for Game Pass Ultimate before the price hike happens cause you know its gonna happen.
Catch them deals on CD Keys when black friday sales hit them. Think Game pass is gonna have a great 2 to 4 years worth of great games.

Haven't owned an Xbox since the 360, that was their best ever showcase, 10/10.
However I will now wait and see if many of these come over to playstation as they are seemingly going down that route rather than spend another 500 on a console.
Doom is coming on PS5. The rest you can buy on PC if you don't want a Xbox.
Please tell me they have more awareness than to believe it was phil who made that call..... he is not on the board nor the ceo or shareholders at microsoft.
He’s the CEO of Microsoft Gaming? And undoubtedly has options in Microsoft (which doesn’t matter at all anyways because shareholders don’t make corporate decisions). His role announcement literally says he is the head of Xbox decision making
@haleyfax just because his title says something does not mean he does not answer to bosses... have you never worked for a large company before? He's the manager of a department, he can still be told what to do by those higher up than him. I do not think the ceo of the gaming department has more authority than the ceo of Microsoft period... large shareholders can effect decisions as well, it has happened before (games being rushed because controlling shareholders want money now.)
@@CorrionReap He made the call to purchase Activision which cost many many people their jobs and their livelihood. He is 100% responsible for this.
@@CorrionReap I'm a corporate lawyer I know how corporations work lol trust me Phil Spencer has decision-making authority in an officer role of CEO despite a board also existing within the corporation. He would be the one who proposes the changes that are sent to the board for approval. And shareholders can want things to happen all they want but they don't have corporate decision-making rights
