Some so badly effected by mining subsidence that they had to number the bricks and in extreme cases do giant wax rubbings of the brickwork before taking them down so they knew which way to rebuild them! It’s an area which was very important during the industrial revolution and its a history the locals are very proud of.

I've wanted to do the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride every year since I've been in TX, unfortunately it's like 95*+ this time a year and getting all dapper just doesn't seem that enjoyable! LOL. You on the other hand had the perfect weather for it minus a little rain. You all looked awesome! And it looked like a grand time and turn out. Here's to ya mate!

It was the perfect temperature, the rain wasn’t too bad but it had chucked it down that morning so the roads were terrible. It was a steady ride though and a fantastic day! Thanks for watching dude!

dad_and_mad take a look at Davinci Resolve 16 it’s free download and boy does that have some features. It’s full on professional software. What they use in broadcasting editing. I was watching some RUclips clips on it yesterday looks absolutely insane. I use Final Cut Pro cost me 600 notes and Davinci wipes the floor with it.

Thanks dude! Mad loved it. I already had all my gear from attending previous years, Soph got her jacket from a charity shop and the shirt from eBay and Mad’s jacket, hat and scarf were a combination of eBay and Amazon! Love her jacket with the funky buttons.

Bit of a let down all other citys had moden classics and old classic style bikes not loads moden bikes and high vis polite bikers ruins it abit. Bangkok is best one ive seen so far london and france all made it classic and moden classic event looked good all together on the roads
Richard Hadj I hear you mate. It’s a tough one I guess when you have riders wanting to take part and raise money for a great cause, should they be turned away? Maybe ride in a group at the back? I’ve no idea. It didn’t bother me but I see your point. Seeing all the classics together is a great sight for sure. Without heavy police support on road closures I guess they’ve got to have Marshalls too and safety is important when you’re riding in the rain, in a group, in nothing but suits. I’m sure feedback will have been taken on board and they’ll improve the event year on year. Thanks for watching, appreciate it.
