This is distributed by Umarex, they hold the Colt licencing, but not made by them, its most likely Taiwanese in origin, although this in itself is not a bad thing. It's a shame that only six 'shells' are supplied, really, 12 would have been more appropriate. If you're going to supply a speedloader you really need something to reload the pistol with.
12 would be nice, but the 6 shells are ok to start with, from what i've seen there are spare shells available which is good and may make this a more attractive gun to purchase. i tested the 357 with my dan wesson shells but unfortunately the 2 guns don't seem to share the same shells etc. James@ReplicaReviews
Yeah other reviews I've seen show there slightly different, no problem for me as I don't have a dw but a pain if you did, all my guns are autos but I do fancy one of these, will just have to buy extra shells
Steven Brown i have put together a comparison review of the 2 guns next to each other, so may be worth taking a look at that when it's up. my honest opinion is that the 357 just has over better build quality, but doesn't have some of the same style as the dan wesson, the decals are less fancy than the DW ones. but that said, both are great guns, but the 357 just does it for me, it's that little bit better on all fronts. a week on and our review of the ***** Colt Python is doing really well, if you're yet to check it out feel free to take a look! One of the best Revolvers I've come across in a long time!
yes umarex wont sell this gun to usa or many others sold only in the u.k .us customers think umarex really prefers the u.k over the usa its plain to see when they release models then refuse sales to usa how stupid anyway good review if umarex ever gets it together they can sell more guns .thanks
