Hey Kayla! I don’t know why, but something about you and your videos make me feel like we’re old friends and every time you post a video, we’re catching up ❤ I’ve been in a depression slump for the past 3 months and I’ve been doing bare minimum housework. I’m a special Ed teacher, so all my care goes to my students, then I go home and pour more care in to my husband and pets, sometimes I feel like I have nothing left for myself. I feel guilty because I feel like I’m not giving my husband and pets the care and attention they deserve because of my mental state. The past few days I’ve been trying hard to pull myself out, and watching this video and your other videos have really helped me slowly push myself back. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for helping me, even though I’m a stranger on RUclips, thank you for helping me slowly get back to where I was when I was 100%. ❤️

Housework is never-ending & I find myself pouring all of my energy and time into my home and family, So I totally get it!! Please take some time out for yourself. If you don't give back to yourself and have you time, how will you be able to give to those around you that you love. You can not be the best version of yourself if you are running on E. Just buy some silver spray paint for ur knobs cuz I had a similar problem with my knobs and I jus spray painted them

My home is slowly coming together ❤ we painted the walls a light grey, my kitchen cabinets are black though, and I love my new grey hardwood floors. I need to do my backsplash and get some more furniture but I love it ❤

This mobile home is so clean and it’s BEAUTIFUL! I love how you’ve decorated it. I have a 4 month old son (plus 3 other older kids) and I love watching cleaning videos even tho I’m just a “wipe it and tidy it” for now while I’m so busy 😂😂

I LOVE that lil dishwasher!! I live in a mobile home, too, but I've been traveling with my hubs for his work and we've been in Florida for 20 months. Our lil apartment down here has a dishwasher (I've NEVER had one till now). When we get home I'm getting that!

My mother always cleaned our floors on all fours. It does do the best job. She also always left the dust cover on lamp shades 😅

My non-gypsy family thinks I'm crazy for hand scrubbing my floors and walls.
I tell them, "It's called the gypsy standard, and my house smells pretty" 😂

I agree with what you said about cleaning your home. I’m the same way. My home isn’t that big. Take’s me about the same time frame to clean. I just started getting 🐜 in my home.unfortunately had to get ant spray.
If you have ants take half cup sugar half cup powdered borax half cup flour mix in a bowl then take bottle cap tops put it in them hide them away from small children and pets the ants will eat it and die or just use raid bug killer

There is no better feeling than getting down on the floor and hand scrubbing them. I grew up in a Hispanic family and I must say there is so many things we have in common. Especially traditions and the way we clean. I tell my mom all the time we must come from mexican gypsies somewhere down the line 😅
Yes! I wear knee pads now in my late 30s but love hand scrubbing the floors.

I used to clean floors on knees so every corner would get clean but now I can’t get down there and drives me crazy that can’t do anymore
@loriwatkins7836 I haven't been able to since October 😢 i was diagnosed with POTS syndrome in june of last year and my drs are finally starting to get my meds right. I spent months in the bed and am finally able to get up and clean. The floors will be done within 2 days! My husband says I'm a nerd for being so excited 😂

friendly observation and suggestion..if you change your cabinet pulls/ handles to black, it would make the white pop more and replacing the backsplash wallpaper tons white and black tile would tie it all together..

I need this motivation today
I cleaned my high up windows with one of them car brushes that extend high up with some car wash solution that has wax in it, then i sprayed them off with a hose and didn't have to dry em because the car wash solution wax makes them residue resistant. It was a work out for my arms but it did the trick and changed my whole outlook being able to see thru crystal clear windows 😊
A suggestion, mb you can spray the white drawer knobs with silver spray paint. ❤

That Spraway glass cleaner is the best hands down. I've been using it for 15 years since one of the ladies that cleaned the offices for a former employer recommended it. Cheap and works better than any other.
