Absolute masterpiece of cinema. Anurag Kashyap is a miraculous filmmaker and Vineet Kumar Singh should be sitting at the top of fim industry but he is never given that chance. I feel so sad for him. This shows how much talent Indian filmmaking has, also to mention that Vineet Kumar Singh is a writer, lyricist, director, actor and an amazingly dedicated individual. Hats off 🔥
44:30 best scene of the movie. It's not just a scene it demonstrates the emotion of a child who is always taunted by his father for not securing good grades. My father was a great human being (now he is no more and I miss him) but we have had similar conversations many a times. What did this to me is that it never made us close. I did not feel comfortable sharing my problems with him, because back of my mind it was always there that I may or may not get the solution from him but most definitely get some taunting.People need to think beyond "only securing good grades will get you a career" thing. Let your child build a career where his strength lies.

Fabulous movie. Vineet Singh is unreal. Ravi Kishan surprised with such a superb portrayal. But again bollywood will never forget its undercover job. Dont know what to say about that aspect but I will ignore this time for the sheer quality on display.
Whenever I think I've seen it all of Jimmy Shergil, this man surprises me with something new. Vineet Kumar needs to do many many many more movies. And Anurag Kashyap has my heart as always 💓

This movie is still so underrated it didn't have any mega movie star, low marketing but you see the storyline of this movie crude reality of sports in India and it's condition, casteism and goon mafia holding up sports and its talent at grass root level in the name of ego, politics and control. This was another masterpiece by Anurag Kashyap which was made to go unnoticed in main stream media and a shit movie like Toofan based on boxing was made with so much hype. Farhan Akhtar shed few weights and did training and it was so highlighted in media and other social platforms. Very few people knew that Vineet Kumar had to sell his house and had to go and train with real boxers in Punjab and he was following regime of real professional boxers, I feel we are so hyped by mass media that these gems go unnoticed and when we feel we #boycottBollywood at our own convenience.

A new edition of 'Crime in India', the annual report of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), was released on August 29, for crime-related statistics in 2021. NCRB reports have a compilation of statistics over the years on offences ranging from crimes against women to economic and financial crimes.
The report revealed that atrocities or crimes against Scheduled Castes (SCs) have increased by 1.2 per cent in 2021 with Uttar Pradesh reporting the highest number of cases of atrocities against SCs accounting for 25.82 per cent followed by Rajasthan with 14.7 per cent and Madhya Pradesh with 14.1 per cent during 2021. Further, the report reveals that atrocities against Scheduled Tribes (ST) have increased by 6.4 per cent in 2021 with Madhya Pradesh reporting the highest number of cases accounting for 29.8 per cent followed by Rajasthan with 24 per cent and Odisha with 7.6 per cent in 2021.
Violence against dalit and adivasi women has also risen. Cases of Rape against SC women, (including minors) account for 7.64 per cent and ST women account for 15 per cent out of the total cases reported. The report has also tabled detailed numbers for cases of rape against dalit women, cases of minor rape, attempt to rape, assault on women to outrage her modesty, and kidnapping of women and minors which cumulatively stood at 16.8 per cent in SC women and 26.8 per cent in ST women.
The report showed that a total of 70,818 cases of atrocities against SCs were pending investigation at the end of the year 2021, including the previous year's cases. Similarly, 12,159 cases of atrocities against STs were pending investigation and a total of 2,63,512 cases of atrocities against SCs and 42,512 cases of atrocities against STs came for trial in court. Conviction percentage under the SCs and STs (PoA) Act in conjunction with the Indian Penal Code (IPC) remained at 36.0 per cent for SCs and 28.1 per cent for STs. At the end of the year, 96.0 per cent of cases of atrocities against SCs were pending trial whereas, for STs, the percentage stood at 95.4 per cent.
