You know how in Mr. Sandman's contender intro slideshow has him defeating every boxer to climb the ranks and obtain his position as World Champion? This is the in-game version of how he did it.
1:02 My guess is that Contender Sandman is hard (or soft) coded to spam the Dreamland Express when he is knocked down twice when you fight him, so the code kicks in when you play as him and he gets knocked down twice. This makes me wonder if TD Sandman does the Berserker Rage if you play as him and get knocked down twice.
I guess Mr.Sandman won against Bald Bull by luck in his introduction cutscene where he swiftly punches all the boxers as he and Bald Bull have the same powerful punches and attack methods except their special moves.
I think the uploading person used too many of the laggy punches, but I’ll have to find an emulator and the mod to test that. Actually, might as well, I’ll be back when I try it.

The reason why the game crashes because they are both opponents. And if they are both opponents that means the game would have to figure out who you are fighting resulting in the game crashing.
possibly, but I haven't tested it but what I do know so far is with the "hit anywhere" code you can keep hitting ryan in a loop to the point that he isn't able to fall down so you can keep hitting him over and over when he's doing the fall animation with his glove and if you star punch him right when he falls the game brakes
Punch out on Nes or Mike tyson's punch out the reason they are Tall is due to the fact that the Nes does not have enough power to mimic the wire frame style seen for punch out in the arcades since in that game, they had a wire frame man making it easy to see ur foes through the main character since I don't know if that character is actually little mac or not I'll just call him "Man" or "The Man" but yeah due to hardware limitations the NES had to use Bigger sprites which were just sprites but cut into little pieces then stitched up in game to make up a big fighter but long story short Piston was a sprite swap of Mike tyson which is why they look to be around the same height but the main reason he is big is due to the fact that they couldn't remake the wire frame appearance from punch out arcade games so to make the foe easier to see they made them big and decided to make little mac... well "Little"

It was just a clip of me playing as sandman against sandman but since I'm playing as sandman the game shows no one in little mac's spot during the intro but the game didn't crash however I had to record that part of the video in exhibition mode since in story mode the game crashes
