five is flat and more base but sound perfection is in the wedge and yes sound is harder on the sonos five

There is o comun mistake that everybody do reviewing formation wedge.
The mic should be place in front and upper then the formation wedge because this unit is ment to be placed lower then usual with any other sistem.
Why? Because the mids and higs on wedge are placed in the cabinet with an angle fireing from down to above. And there is a significand difference in listening compared to units that has drivers that fires palalel with the ground.
B&W recomand puting the edge in corners and not as high …all theyr presentation are at a level of maximul 1m above the ground…
So…they manage to deliver the bass almost paralel with the ground…but drivers for mids and highs are orientated in angle to fire different…
Thats why all the reviewers place the mic at the same angle with others speachers that has front fireing…
What a waste of time and not informed people that make this kind of reviews

Yo tuve los dos parlantes y puedo decir que el Sonos Five tiene un sonido muy brillante y los bajos son fuertes, pero no son tan definifos, los sonidos medios se escuchan muy atrasados. En cuanto al Formation Wedge tiene un sonido mas equilibrado y graves mas controlados y definidos.
En mi opinion los dos son muy buenos parlantes, pero depende lo que quieras, si pureza de sonido o un sonido mas coloreado.
