I am sure I am not alone, in saying the waffle is just as good as the knitting!! The news about Poppy sounds wonderful 🤞 I am panicking because I have 3 wips on the go, one of which I am finishing off today - so I am bewildered how you cope with up to 40 and yet still get so much accomplished 👏 Jinny
Oh my goodness, Mandy, your 2 yokes are absolutely stunning, I am watching this after everyone bogged off to bed on your zoom!lol! I am up to the Jen Stiengas cowl now. Your colours look so much nicer than the pic. That is going to be another stunner.xx
I used to watch Dunderknits! I'm sure I read recently that she is Ok and has no plans to podcast in the near future! Glad Poppy is doing better. Got my knitting mojo back but still choosing to knit slowly. I'd like to make the Tunisian Blanket as that stitch is very pleasing. Got to finish a 3 year old wip first! Have a Twinset and Purls todo list too! Thanks for the podcast. Jane.
Love the yokes of the sweaters you showed. So pretty and love seeing the floats. So happy to hear positive news about your furbaby! ❤ I hope she continues to feel better and back to her old self, even if its a slow road to recovery. Hope you are feeling well too. 🥰
Your sweaters are looking amazing! 😍 Thanks for mentioning my blanket and the podcast too 🤗 I think it was maybe 2 years ago I made the granny go round, I used 2 socks yarn held together then dk for the neckline etc, fun project. So lovely to see you as always 💕
Love all the colourwork Mandy makes me want to cast on straight away. So happy to hear Poppy is having a better time at present and I really hope it lasts for her. The filling in section was very enjoyable 👍 xxx
Your colour work looks stunning. They will be lovely sweaters. You reminded me I must dig out my Misurina and crack on with that but I’ve not done hardly any colour work so fingers crossed. Hope Poppy continues to improve 😘
I was ogling that Andrea Morwy pattern Traveler Shell cardigan. Just as you mentioned it. And I wanted to make it exactly the same reasons you mentioned. I approve of you making it.
Hi Mandy 🖐, love the jumpers / sweaters 😊 you do make me smile , a light bulb moment just happened, 😜 I'm going to look for a Christmas sweater patten thank you for that ! ...... I've must finish the felix cardigan first though 😊 ...... it's great news Poppy is feeling herself xx ❤
Beautiful colourwork. I love project planning -it's my favourite thing - and delighted to hear your plans, too. Plain colours in Sssh? That's a bit dangerous to hear... Take care xx
I love your waffle and glad poppy is feeling better and as for her brother welllll 🤣🤣 I love a bit of naughty cat antics although mine has grown out of that at bedtime lol 😊😊
Dave will have to leave the door open for Poppy and when he is ready to shut the light off he will have to go down and close the door 😂 cause , ya know, she is a Diva after all. Lol. Your colour work is gorgeous. It has been many years for me since I did colour work.
Whenever you said he was yowling to show you his toy, I had to laugh. We have two yowlers who love to show off their prey. Fortunately it is always just little cat toys. I am convinced our cats don't know how to cat - once we had a field mouse inside and all three of them sat staring at it, absolutely terrified. When it ran, they jumped back - my husband had to get it and put it outside. Poor mouse, but even more poor cats 🤣. I love your color choices for the Silver Forest and it really came out so pretty. The construction on it looks like fun, I can't help but think that it'd be a great garment that goes around your shoulders. Maybe a shrug (is that what it's called? 😅). I don't think I've ever really paid attention to the Travelers Shell, but it is really cute. I'm having the same problem with wanting to cast on everything and now you've inspired me even more to cast on color work. It would be a lot easier if there weren't so many great patterns 🙂
Oh Mandy! Don't encourage me to avoid knitting the body! 🤣 I've dyed up some green today with thoughts of knitting another in "proper" Christmas colours. I'm planning a personal cast on party for 1st August and a birthday cast on in October. I am out of control! 🙈😂
The new sweater (first one shown) is beautifuĺ. The next cast on is pretty in those colours. Oh cat shenanigans ugh no wonder you are closing the door.
Dearest Mandy, So enjoyed your new section at the end of patterns that have caught your eye. Your Bubble sweater looks so joyful. A pink scarf to wear with it? Dear Poppy 💕 xo
Good news about Poppy but not so good about your gifts in the night. When we had a cat he wasnt allowed upstairs at night because he just purred in your ear. 7 is my limit x

I'm glad you found something more to waffle on about after the first 20 minutes! You always make my day ☺

Oh, and make sure you go watch Mandy Vaughn Knits. I think you won a pattern!
I did! I'll show you what I chose next week! X
I do so love your chats. Shiftigan a great idea and I’m now planning a Bobble Sweater by S West. Love your colours.
I'm loving all the colourwork these days as well. Jennifer Steingass is one of my favorite designers as well! Hope you are enjoying your summer, ❤
When it's not too hot, cold, wet or humid Alice! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have the Shiftigan cardigan pattern too, I bought the coloured contrast wool but still searching for the main colour. Your colour work is stunning 😊
Hi Mandy, love the two new colour work Jumpers you’re doing. Looking forward to your new cast ons. So glad Poppy is well 🧶

I have some of the James Brett "Shhhhh". 3 balls. Thanks for the suggestion of the Andrea Mowry shell. Can we be buddies and knit this together?
Why not! I'm casting on 1st August xx
Mandy, what is the name of the Stephen West jumper you are knitting? I love it!!!! I love your podcast so much you are a delight 😊
Th Bubble Sweater. It's linked in the description box below the video. I've tried to link it here but can't figure it out lol! x
@MousesMakes Thankyou, that was a quick answer😊
Silly me !!!! So it is 😊
Oh trust me not silly at all! Wait til you see this week's episode if you want to see silly! 🤦♀️

Is there any chance you could possibly ask Poppy’s vet to send me a few of those shots ? I have those same issues.
😂
What about the Seaglass sweater or cardigan
I have the sweater pattern. The cardigan isn't steeked, so means pulling every other row in 1x1 colourwork. Not sure I'm up for THAT! X
@@MousesMakes good point. I’m doing the sweater and not bored of it yet 😊
Or even the tee
145 episodes …ok .
Yep! And add in the Vlogmas episodes, lives etc. It's a lot!
