I loooove that they brought this back (it was not in the Bway show) AND re-contextualized it so it makes more sense that Shug would sing this AFTER knowing Celie for a longer time than in the original film where they kinda just met.
Taraji is EVERYTHING in this film.
So nostalgic! Its like watching the original but different
I was never able to go to Broadway to watch the musical, now I can watch it from home.
