It would be really helpful if you could show examples of canvas bags with construction or design flaws that you feel are worrisome or problematic when it comes to choosing a bag to buy, as it increases the risk of it having an excess of wear in tear in those areas. For example I know you’ve mentioned bags made out of one piece of canvas and that are folded into shape, as this puts it at risk of having areas with hard corners or sharper folds, that can wear down faster or experience excess wear and tear… and not have options for repair. This helped me take a closer look at bags with corners wrapped in leather and I understand how that would protect the canvas especially in those spots that are often structurally compromised due to the fold, but also a spot on the bag that gets the brunt of force when bumping into things or is a point of fake ion and movement, esp if the bag is more structured, as the movement of setting down/ picking up the bag will cause those areas to bend/flex and also rub on surface it’s set on… eventually leading to that corner or edge to wear quicker or even crack. You suggested looking at bags with leather protectors on the corners of folded canvas in order to protect it for the very reasons I mentioned above, which is a good point; however, there’s only one or two bags made right now with a design like that (which is unfortunate), but it would likely help someone to visualize this if shown an example. I’ve kept this in mind when looking at preloved bags actually, knowing that these common areas of excess wear and tear are protected and the leather can be replaced if necessary Dash so that’s why it was a good point to I have in the back of my mind. Can you do a video about faux pas and what appropriate, polite behavior looks like when visiting luxury boutiques- does one need to ask an SA before touching a bag/item, does one need to understand they’ll likely have a sales associate nearby while shopping bc they have to be (and why), do U need to ask to film/take a photo in the store? More specifically, what one should/should not say to, or ask of, their client advisor; How one should and should not act inside a luxury boutique; Should you tell the SA if you’re not interested in/planning to buy a bag that day & perhaps, just looking closer at bags of Interest and trying on to see bag(s) fit, feel, look, etc.

Some great points have been given because although you expect people to have common sense with regard to their purchases, most do not and logic just goes left. Case and point, unless LV has done a partnership with “The Beats” brand owned by apple or some other well known tech giant then obviously their headphones are not gonna be a great idea to buy, this is where logic comes in and the same goes for their watches. Whenever you go to these stores, I always tell people stick to what you know they’re best for. These brands are simply trying to keep up with the Jones (other fortune 500 companies and appeasing shareholders) by not leaving money on the table but not realizing they’re upsetting their clientele in the process.

I even said the same thing to him about LV is known for their luxury goods, handbags and trunks. So I’ll only stick to that! However after speaking with the sales associate, he advised me to go for the leather as it much more hard-wearing and long lasting. After watching your videos, I'm so glad that I listened to him and got the black. However, I would to hear your opinion on the Boite Chapeau Souple MM. Empreinte is tough as f u don’t have to be so careful with it . I have little empreiente key wallet pouch that I beat to death it still looks brand new.
I do have the Nanogram Earrings and the Bracelet (Rosegold plated), they are, besides from two very old Dior fashion jewelry items (which held up really good, I bought these I suppose in 2000 🤔?) the only fashion jewelry I own. I'm really happy with them, but I don't wear them under the shower, but put them on the time I leave the house, and when I come home, I put them off (I do that with my fine jewelry, too; I don't like to wear a Ruby ring from my Grams in the shower, tbh). But I watched a video some years ago about that Phone Ring Holder, the person tried to put it on her phone, it didn't work 🙁. So bad that LV doesn't stand behind their fashion jewelry! I also own the reijkavic scarf. I don't think I realised just how much I paid for it at the time 🤦♀️I ordered it with my neverfull maybe around 2020? I was shocked when I went back to check the price 😮 I'm also worried about that one pilling Urgh. Now that I think about it all my designer RTW (I don't have that many) I'm worried about - the wool and cashmere stuff... because I can be clumsy 😂 I should stop buying this material...

Very interesting! I’m owing a Logomania anthracite scarf and it does pilling BUT I do like it a lot it’s super soft and i do clean it myself after every winter season and I’ve had no problems so far!
I’m so happy to hear that you love it. I have tons of Lv silks and also the chale monograms and after having those their is no way you would still think the logomania’s are soft. And like u said, the pilling isn’t exactly luxurious. Enjoy!

The chale mngs are just the reg shawls. They retail For similar price point to logomania now. Just a touch more and they wear better and aren’t as itchy. But yes, again, so happy yours is working out as that wasn’t my experience with most people who brought it back for quality issues 😃

Q- wld you prefer the (1) LV LockMe Ever BB top handle bag OR (2) LV Madeleine MM leather monogram top handle bag ? For leather durability and lock mechanism durability - which wld last at least 5 years? Have bought other LVs in the past with zips and they were amazingly durable - canvas and epi leather. Although LV LockMe Ever BB has been around (2019), really like its silver lock at the front and leather - looks very elegant for work and leisure. Also newer LV Madeleine MM leather monogram, also looks good. Any independent thoughts? Highly appreciate your thoughts. Note, have also seen the LV Twist one handle PM but price point is too steep and this bag looks triangular whereas the other two look softer. P/s. also read other reviews on the LockMe series and someone commented about their silver LV turn lock mechanism broke where the lock just swivels loosely and does not turn 45 degree to close the bag. From your past experience when you were a former team member of that company, was the LockMe silver turn lock a problem where alot of customers returned for repair under warranty (5 yrs) ? Or was it an odd case like any other merchandise where there is always a 95% chance that you may buy a faulty product. Any thoughts from you will help. Yes, note that leather can wear and tear over time. Do look after all my bags. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Most designer brands do 18k. But yes, it would be in the 8-15k range. Still 750 but something that’s gonna tarnish isn’t acceptable to me. It’s literally throwing money down the drain. Toil 15 & 19 go for it. I don’t like monogram so I’m biased
I personally don’t like it but that’s a personal choice . I just don’t trust full canvas bags. I also hate how it falls over all the time. Just personal opinion but go for it if you like it 😄
Honestly, the quality of those scarves is simply criminal. It's a $500+ scarf, they should be able to figure it out. There is no shortage of manufacturers of high quality wool/cashmere scarves that they could choose from.
Sounds like LV purchases cheap products then slaps their logo on it and raise the price exponentially. I have one LV handbag. It’s vintage, the jean one. I wouldn’t spend my money on merchandise like LV anymore. Just me-my opinion.

P/s. also read other reviews on the LockMe series and someone commented about their silver LV turn lock mechanism broke where the lock just swivels loosely and does not turn 45 degree to close the bag. From your past experience when you were a former team member of that company, was the LockMe silver turn lock a problem where alot of customers returned for repair under warranty (5 yrs) ? Or was it an odd case like any other merchandise where there is always a 95% chance that you may buy a faulty product. Any thoughts from you will help. Yes, note that leather can wear and tear over time. Do look after all my bags. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Most designer brands do 18k. But yes, it would be in the 8-15k range. Still 750 but something that’s gonna tarnish isn’t acceptable to me. It’s literally throwing money down the drain. Toil 15 & 19 go for it. I don’t like monogram so I’m biased

Honestly, the quality of those scarves is simply criminal. It's a $500+ scarf, they should be able to figure it out. There is no shortage of manufacturers of high quality wool/cashmere scarves that they could choose from.
