Burberry Goddess is definitely my perfume I wear when I run around. Chanel Chance was one I wore to work along with Mademoiselle. Another forgotten fragrance is Dior’s Joy.

RIGHT...NO perfume is ubiquitous. Most people are not into fragrance and just keep a few designers they like at Macy's. Also who cares about smelling like other people? If the most notable thing about us is our fragrance, we aren't as unique as we think lol!
LDBS and Goddess are so good. Agree that having too many can be a hindrance. My recent experience: nobody cares if Devotion works for a red dress at a comedy show LMAO wtf why did I spend so much time on that decision.

Had a sample of Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka. Strong but gentle, Rich but minimalist, Sexy but classy, Basic but complete. Smells like how a well made black or a deep chestnut brown leather tote handbag should smell.

LDBS did nothing for me, but Burberry makes me that “It” woman. Other scents that get me the compliments in Eilish, Yara, Sol de Janiero, and Pink Sugar.

When layering perfumes do you match other perfumes with the base note or the top note?
Base notes since they last longer.

As a woman, when I think about what I spend the least amount of money on, it is fragrance. Why? I know first hand that your body chemistry changes, especially once you hit the "M" phase of your life. I have a hate/hate relationship with Lavender, not a love/hate. 🤣 It doesn't matter what the top, middle, or base notes are, my nose focuses on the Lavender, and it's a no. I've never liked Lavender. The 3 fragrances that I do wear, are Issey Miyake, Gucci Guilty, and Inis. Inis is my everyday fragrance. If I spend over $100 for a smell good, we are friends til the end of that bottle.🤣
