Hey, I've got an even better one. Rules for corporations so people stop blaming the average person for major pollution. One person buying a Prius wont "save the world".
we literally make the rules for corporations. they respond to our dollar. if you take your dollar to green alternatives, the corps will respond. that's why we're seeing more and more companies offer these types of solutions. that's not to say i disagree with making some regulatory moves to make corps act more greenly, but my main point is, people themselves are just not concerned with it.
i believe bags for groceries and trash would be made so they don't break down that fast, it should take weeks, i use trash bags that are made from recycled material and are bio degradable, i've had liquid stuff in them for over a week and they never leaked a drop. (they are also cheaper then most regular trash bags)
@@jessicareutercastrogiovann5796 the video did say the company is still working on expanding to more types of capsules. The one shown in the video is their base model, I'm sure they'll be looking for ways to help gain handicap accessibility.
@@travistesluk3986 Tiny houses that are handicap accessible already exist. The biggest polluters are giant cargo ships and factories that make batteries for electric cars. The amount of toxins they produce are mind blowing. You have to drive a Prius 20+ years to "offset the amount of carbon produced just from the factory alone
Not unless the population is drastically reduced. The planet can only support so many live forms and we are past that point. Less people=pollution and waste

The water vapour plane has one glaring flaw: it uses up a resource we have a very limited amount of: water. If the goal is to help reduce the loss of essential environmental products, using one of those products more doesn't sound like the smartest idea. "I will stop people wasting water by wasting water myself"
We need more videos like this, especially if there are efforts around the world that people can donate to, helping fund these efforts. I can't remember where exactly, but I've heard a few countries in Europe have found a way to collect exhaust emissions from vehicles and filter/"clean" it and reproduce clean air to be pumped back out.

I have an idea for an invention. By taking a specific mix of non-toxic chemicals and using a single grain of sugar, causing it to have a reaction to make a material that can be used as a sugar alternative that has the same sweetness but no negative effects of regular sugar. With the only possible side effect being that it would have the same effect as regular sugar if you ate tens of thousands of it. However, that would be rare, as the scaling for this new sugar alternative would be so minuscule that even if you ate 100 g of this alternate sugar it would have less of an effect than if you ate one chips ahoy cookie or even sugar added to coffee. It's perfect and it would help say it mass amounts of sugar over for the industry, meaning unlike the man who made a water-powered car, I would actually be helping the industry. Anyone else on board with this?
There is also pumped storage where you combine wind and hydro power. You put water reservoir at the top of the hill and another at the bottom. The wind turbine pumps the water from bottom reservoir to the top one. When it flows back it goes through generators to convert to electricity
All of these are interesting, but that Water Rotor thing deserves more notice. It sounds like a water wheel that's infinitely more useful. If I could generate modern amounts of energy just by splashing the water every now and then, I'd be happy as hell. Would be neat to have that as a power source as well as a water-cooled computer powered by the water wheel. Here's hoping that all of the stuff shown actually works out, and soon. If it works now, there is absolutely ZERO reason for them to not be in full use everywhere. Give me those water soluble bags and those edible six pack holders, right now. Water rotor too, but the others with higher priority.
Just a thought but aren't you contradicting yourself? you say that warmer water absorbs more Co2 so wouldn't cooling it down be the correct answer. Aka temperature is the problem then lol
Water soluble bags...as someone who has had to carry EXTREMELY HEAVY bags of shopping about 10km home in the rain more tgan once, let me say: BULLSHIT.

No, though the majority switching away from fossil fuels will. But the oil industry would never take that lying down
@@jonc-1989 what would they even do? switch to electric markets to stay alive?
The water bags is only a bad idea if you're grocery shopping and it's raining lol
Or trash bags if you've ever had something leak, you'll just have a giant mess on the floor.

Mother Nature is proud of us.
Well not all of us, but definetly those who are not who are trying to save the planet or know that the world is dying.

The problem for corals is not the temperature per se, but the fact that warmer water can absorb more CO2 and therefore becomes more acidic
But does his point still stand?
Just a thought but aren't you contradicting yourself? you say that warmer water absorbs more Co2 so wouldn't cooling it down be the correct answer. Aka temperature is the problem then lol
The acidity won't go away after cooling down because the warmer surroundings have the same PH levels
