CBeebies existed in 1998. I'll tell you the history. In 1998, CBeebies originally started as CBBC Choice. 1 year later, in 1999, it changed it's name to CBBC on Choice. But, in 2002, CBBC on Choice finally became CBeebies.
I remember how well the 90s titles used to roll into Live and Kicking on a Saturday morning probably because they were both David Arnold compositions. Oh if only we could turn back the clock.
Why don't I remember all of those 90s idents despite being a 90s kid? In 1996, I turned my back on the basic 4 channels as a result of having got Sky ;)

@@marvy3022You are band right, my apologies, I was confusing the first and the third clip somehow! (Saying that, it's astounding how many on-screen functions the BBC used the B for well into the late '80s); however I'm dubious if it was an Arc used for this third animation or not as they weren't widely adopted by the BBC in any serious manner (and the BBC's contract with Acorn, whilst technically still holding, had parted ways by the release of the Arc, so they weren't so geared towards it). A few years ago I acquired some old in-house production company floppies that have been used on a B, and there were a few (non finalised) graphics which were used for very early on-screen (static) presentation pre-Children's BBC, with the images being used as the backdrop whilst that afternoon's lineup was read out. One featured a cat and a mouse, another I recall was a man painting or something. Wish for the life of me I could remember where I've stored them.
