Kakashi's chakra reserve has always been his downfall. Give the same amount of chakra to both of them and Kakuzu is getting clapped. Kakashi is inferior to him in only one category and just because of that, he loses.

I admit most of Naruto & Naruto Shippuden filler arcs are meh and ignorable, but some of them (like even the previous Twelve Guardian Ninja Arc that set up Asuma's story with his monk friend Chiriku for Hidan & Kakuzu) are good lead-ins to upcoming canon arcs, and the next Three Tails Arc (I know it's a long arc for filler, that's a big detriment against it) has some context to the next major canon arc. I know you guys are busy with other shows and your own lives, but if you want to see some expanded Naruto lore and a new Tailed Beast (Three Tailed Turtle) featured, you can zip through it - again, at your own time and you all don't have to upload those reactions. Just an honest suggestion. And keep up the fun reactions!

No, Asuma told Shikamaru about the "King", it wasn't Hidan's abilities, it was obvious what his abilities are just by seeing the way he fought Asuma. And it's pretty dumb for Asuma to say his last words to Shikamaru about some villain's abilities. It was about who the King is? What they need to protect, stuff like that.

Kakashi who previously stabbed one of Kakuzu's mask Hearts also draw Kakuzu's blood in one of the needles and gave it to Shikamaru and when he drawed Hidan away from Kakuzu, he sprayed Kakuzu's blood on Hidan scythe and when ingesting it and damaging himself it also damages Kakuzu while also killing his original heart.

Then they both switch their puppets, Ino takes over hidan and Shikamaru paralysed kakuzu. They have already seen HIdan's ritual, so all Ino had to do was just do the ritual and then get out before the self stabbing part of ritual takes place...even if hidan manages to stop himself from stabbing himself and kill kakuzu accidentally, kakashi or choji could crush hidan instead which would have led to kakuzus death.
