    Hey friend- ive done this a few years ago and just ordered more d-76 developer and it arrived - it’s like brown powder- it turns my water- violet color. I’m almost certain the last time I used it it was white. Was your powder white?

    • @iFindSermons

      Just the iodine. The developer is mixed with water. The cloth was just one of my white handkerchiefs.

      ***** I used kodak professional d-76 developer. The amount depends on the c size of container you use and how much water you put in it. A little goes a long way. You should experiment a few times first.

    Did you use starch on the hanky? Or is it just iodine and the d-76 photo developer?

    • @iFindSermons
      @iFindSermons  8 лет назад +1

      Where did you get the iodine you used for this object lesson. How much of the d-76 developer did you use for 1 liter of water? Did the water have to be hot to dissolve the developer?

      +Chris Coker Hi Chris. you can get the iodine at any CVS or Wallgreens. the water can be room temperature. it doesn't take but about two or three tablespoons of developer depending on how much water you use. a little goes a long way. I'd suggest you experiment first before you do the demonstration. also, have it all mixed and desolved before the demonstration. Hope that helps.
