Hello this is just excellent video I opened the subframe from scrap yard but needs to change bushing what is part number for Hyundai sonata 2011 2.4 litre engine size.. please help me
Hello, thanks for watching! I'm not really sure what your car is. Is it Sonata NF or YF. You can drop me a photo on email pestun.igor@mail.ru Also, you can check the bushing itself, partnumber can be written on rubber. If you won't be able to find, send me a photo.
Hi! I'm not sure what name does it have, but it's used as an additional reinforcement for subframe and also it's a plate for the bolt, that holds rear busing.
Hii I have sonata 2011 it look like same subframe.. just wanna do I need to support engjne or transaxle or not.. I m not sure the long two bolts that u opened at (1.57- 2.01 time frame) front are attached with engine or not.. please guide this is only video that is exactly I m looking for
Hi ! No theese bolts are not connected to the engine, only to the framerails. You'll not need any additional bars for engine, just hydraulic jacks you saw in video.
How much this job usually costs? I need to replace my rusty frame (this whole frame you removed to change bushings) on 1.6 TDi Ceed and wondering about cost
@@igorpestun8703 that’s not bad. I thought it might be more expensive. Thank you for your reply so fast and also for making the video. The part I love most is that “it’s to the point”. No beating around the bush and putting too much blah blah, hence ruining it

what made you to change them? did the customer complaint of a noise, like a clunk?
A thudding noise under the car's bottom, and car was swinging a little while changing the lane.
So glad I saw this video. Have been chasing a clunking noise up front for a while now. Never thought about the subframe bushings.
Very nice do you know the part number for the bushing presser kit by any chance ?

Is it save to use grease on bolts as you do and what type of grease can be used
Yes, it is safe. I use regular grease for bearings.
Is there need to support engine and transmission when you remove subframe? I have kia ceed 2008 1.4 petrol
@@SIPESSB no, on your car it is unnecessary, it has two more struts. I mean two on body and two on a subframe.
