My heart still aches with the knowledge that Château Miranda was demolished and is forever lost to history. 😢

Beautifully done! Such a tragedy this place no longer exists.

So sad to see such a beautiful place to go like that. They can not build places like that today.

of course they can , modern architecture is far more complex (although far uglier too) than this Gothic beautiful kind of castle. Any rich person with a couple million dollars to spare in a parcel of forest could have one built nowadays.

@@Innominat9 In general, I wouldn't say it's more complex today. There has been an increase in capacity to be more complex, but today's structures are more 'function over form' than anything. Having said that, you'd need to find a gothic enthusiast who would stay true to using only stone and glass. It obviously costs more, and not a lot of people today know how to build in that style. The labor alone would be a fortune, and it's the reason these places took generations to build. For that, it makes them more special imo.

It's a shame to see this majestic beauty in such a state, what a rich history behind this awesome place and the pictures accompanied this video are truly appreciated in telling of her past. Thank you. :)

Rest In Peace Chateau. Whether you knew her as Miranda, Noisy or the exquisite deselect she became, this grand home from another era is gone. We are all a litter sadder to see her no more.

The 2nd picture of the castle at 0.30 second (the one with some peoples), is not Miranda but the Balmoral castle in United Kingdom

What a Shame that this mysterious castle has been demolished!! It was a castle like in a "child's imagination"! It should have been "surrended" to Nature forever!

Why did they demolish it? If you demolish such iconic buildings, future generations never get a chance to renovate them.

Dans les Ardennes belges - Malheureusement démoli en 2017, pourtant un très beau château. Le sort final de beaucoup d'édifices trop grands et coûteux à entretenir.
