Thats the history so far I remember when canelo was loved when they were berating Floyd to fight him once Floyd did and after retired leaving canelo as the top ppv attraction everyone turned on canelo for not facing whoever the popular pick is at the moment (Benavides) later when canelo is gone and Benavides takes the ppv crown he will also be criticized for not fighting the next popular fighter🤷🏽♂️

whether it was berlanga or not people are increasingly streaming illegally. David is owed the winner of Bivol vs Beterbiev. He doesn’t need to fight Morrell.
At one point it was floated out there that Benavidez would fight the winner and Morrell fight the loser. The winners of those fights potentially fighting each other. If it ends up a rematch, it’s that much bigger. If it ends up Benavidez vs Morrell cause they both won then that’s a super fight at that point.

All the drama about this fight is totally nonsense. I understand that Benavidez is the fight we all want, but Canelo vs Berlanga is more attractive than the Charlo fight, also more attractive than any fight vs any european fighter at 168. Everyone think Berlanga is easy work for Canelo, and that he doesn’t deserve this, thats all bs. With Benavidez moving up to 175 and Morrel jr still unknown, Berlanga is the guy, his undefeated, has gained popularity and is ranked. Does Canelo look superior in every aspect? Yes, but Berlanga is a natural 168, strong fighter and alot of pride. This is not as easy as you imagine.

Well, now that we know that Crawford did not dominate Modrimov, but the fight was very close, I give Bud Crawford ZERO chances of beating Alvarez. The 157 pound division looks like it effected Bud's punching power and movement. Going up to 168 (Fat Bud) will do him no favors. An Alvarez fight will end by KO, and Bud looking up at the ceiling, or end-up looking a lot like Jermell Charlo (a field track star). Now the Jermell vs. Bud feels a little bit more competative.
