Playing jazz on the accordion "How High the Moon"

In this video I show how I sit down and approach a jazz standard on the accordion. What approaches I take to harmonize the melody with chords, creating different lines in the bass, counter lines under the melody, lots of passing chords, and half step approach chords!

I just love how you are explaining your thoughts… it’s really helpful! But where can I buy an accordion like yours that has all the right notes because mine seems to have a lot more wrong notes than yours!?! ;)

Haha. The accordion doesn't hurt that's for sure. This is a borrowed from a friend, Ernie Felice Model SS4. It's an amazing jazz accordion.
