  • Did you know that books of laws existed in ancient India too?
The concepts of democracy and republics are often considered Western imports. Palki Sharma tells you how - Ancient India had republics too.

The last statement was apt and a slap on our own faces… Having so many books of laws from thousands of years of bharath’s history. What made people look at books of all other countries and not at all towards our own books for writing and this is valid even today . Looking for some one to answer and implement the answer in our constitution today.

It is so unfortunate that we were not taught about them in our History text books! Their names should have been included in the chapters on our constitution.

Constitution needs to be taught in later years in school or at grad education levels. This is important in my view because we the people need to understand how basic laws came to being and where are segregation based on caste, gender, religion etc and if those comply with equality and basic human rights. I am sure great leaders of India’s past must have done their due diligence but there are amendments for a reason. Further, anything that is for the people, by the people needs to be known well by the public.

Hey my dear friend I'm happy to know that you live in Gaya 💝.
But keep this in mind there was a brother of Prince Siddhartha called Devadaththa and he was always against Buddha and now he is suffering in the Avichi hell. Although he lived near by Buddha he failed to attain Enlightenment. Living near to Buddhist places will not prove your knowledge about Buddhism or Buddha.
Bharat is a land ruled by many mighty and prosperous Buddhist emperors. All of them offered the land of whole bharat to Buddhism as offering a flower. So every inch of Land in bharat is dedicated land for Buddhism. It's the reality. Not only Bharat , Sri lanka , Myanmar , Thailand , China , Cambodia , Vietnam , Afghanistan , Pakistan , Laos , Malaysia all these lands were offered to Buddha Sasana by their might rulers in past. Therefore in future there will be revolution for sure. The message of Buddha = The message of End of the suffering = The message of Enlightenment will be spread again.
I invite you to find and learn Buddha Dhamma.
Then you will realize this religion is worth to practice to end All suffering. This religion worth to spread in the whole world.
Although I know very much about stupid hindu beliefs I'm not going to humiliate hinduism because it doesn't suits me. I'm just kindly inviting you to search more about Buddhism.
You can just go to Bodhgaya and meditate the feel the Power of Buddhism by practicing Meditation while sitting under a tree in Bodhgaya 🌸 You will be satisfied for your entire life for sure ✨️
      May you obtain happiness
      May you obtain wisdom
      May you attain Nibbana 🌸

I always felt I couldn't connect with Indian Stories, ideologies, opinions, styles, trends whatever is prevailing. Recently, after being in NCR, I realised that when someone talks about India. It is all about the glory of North and Middle India. I am not against it, I appreciate it. But I feel I am left behind. I worry this could make people, who are left, less patriotic. All I want is history from my region which deserves recognition should be recognised. I want Inclusiveness. I believe there is no concept of Indian Culture, there should be only the concept of Indian Cultures. same with history, language and all. I am from south. I am talking about Tamil Literatures pathinenkeelkanaku, pathinenmelkanaku. In one of you video i heard from you people saying "we have manuscripts from 3rd century talking about politics, war, administration, foreign affairs". Dig the Tamil Literature, and now you can say " we have manuscripts from B.C". these days I wonder what about Northeast.
