      @@ForeverTechh You did not check the +5 volt supply of the display PCB and declared the Micro Controller IC faulty after checking two small and one Electrolytic capacitors in the circuit . Absence of Five volt supply may be the cause of the fault.

      I think you don't get it then, after removing the ceramic and one electrolytic capacitor, i think you didn't notice that the capacitor soldering pads were still showing short with each other, which is a big indication of MCU being faulty. The voltages were passing through the display circuit but due to the short it was not letting the main board to work. I have experienced such shortages in many PCBs when the microcontroller goes bad, the whole board will show short, as all pins are eventually interconnected with the MCU. I think you might be cleared now. And yes I have fixed such boards after replacing Microcontroller. Also do notice that short was disappeared after removing the MCU.

      Shorting or shortages are commonly used in English but both words are not suitable to be used here in this case of Electronic circuits.
      Coming to the topic, Let me elaborate it in Urdu.
      کسی الیکٹرانک سرکٹ کی ٹربل شوٹنگ کا آغاز اس کی پاور سپلائی سے کیا جاتا ھے۔ یہ ایک یونیورسل تھمب رول ھے۔ اس بورڈ میں Well Regulated سرخ(+)5v اور کالی (-) Gnd ھے. اور باقی دو تاریں ڈاٹا Transmit & Receive کیلئے ھیں۔ یہ 5 وولٹ IR اور ICs کو سپلائی دینے کے علاوہ ڈسپلے کے 17 عدد LEDs کو بالترتیب روشن کرنے کیلئے ھے۔ اور ڈسپلے کی ان تمام LEDs کو Drive کرنے کیلئے 5 وولٹ سپلائی Q1-Q2 اور Q3 کے کولیکٹرز سے کنٹرول ھوکر ملتی ھے۔ اگر ان مذکورہ ٹرانزسٹرز میں پارشل یا مکمل شارٹ سرکٹ ھو جائے تو نہ ڈسپلے آن ھوگا اور نہ ھی AC. آپ کو سٹیپ بائی سٹیپ proceed کرنا چاہیئے تھا نا کہ جمپ کرکے سیدھا .I.C خراب ھے کہہ کرھینڈز اپ کر دینا چاہیئے تھا۔ جن سرامک اور الیکٹرولائٹک 47uf کپیسٹرز کو ڈی سولڈر کیا اس کی ضرورت نہیں تھی۔ آپ کی وڈیو ھم جیسے شاگردوں کو سکھانے کیلئے ھوتی ھے اس لئے جمپ/ سٹارٹ مفید نہیں ھوتا۔
      امید ھے آپ سمجھ گئے ھونگے۔ میں پرانا سبسکرائبر بھی ھوں۔
