Aw, Ange, thank you so much. 💕 That makes feel all warm and gooey inside. I've spent most of my life being shunned by other humans, so it still amazes me that there are a small group of them that can actually seem to tolerate me. Thank you so much for that. I hope I can remain worthy of your time. 😘x
Thank you for watching. They were so cute, weren't they. It was hard to not overuse the meercat footage. I could have done a whole video just of them! lol 😘x
Meercat, I miss you Flower, rest in peace. "I love the smell of manure in the morning," "smells like victory." I would like to live in a village like that and wear a flowing cape and walk briskly about channelling Margaret Rutherford. Thank you for the fun. I hope your back will be better soon and allow you a good rest.
Thank you, SuS. As always a pleasure to hear from you. A short reply this evening as I'm about to get some sleep, but I would love to see you channel Margaret Rutherford. "A haaaaandbaaaaag?!" 😁🤣👍😘x
I just love your videos. I have to admit something. As an American in my head when you are driving especially in tight places my mind is screaming get on the bloody right hand side of the road !!! then I remember for you the left side of the road is the right side 😂🤣😂🤣
Lol, yes we consider the left right, and the right wrong - and we are, of course, right. 😁 It absolutely makes my day to have someone say they love my videos. Seriously, I couldn't keep going without the support of viewers like you. So thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart. 😘x
Hi Kit! I loved this video and all the gorgeous green countryside, clouds, fresh air, and lack of people! I agree about zoos. They fill me with sadness watching the little critters keep pacing. I stopped going to them years ago. Damn, though, those meercats are adorable! I think your photography was super. I sympathize with the back pain issue, as I've endured its vicissitudes for nearly 38 years. Now I'm adding in senior citizen hip pain.. It sucks! Stay strong my friend!💕
Barbara, thank you! I'm so happy to get good feedback from one of my best regulars. I'm going through some family stuff right now, so there may be an interruption to the schedule, but it means the world to have people like you who I can count on to stick around, even if circumstances take me away for a bit. Thank you, my friend. You are appreciated. 💕😘x
I do love those Peak District villages and countryside. Your sat nav is pretty random. A zoo was brave, high risk of roaming children. But we got to enjoy the penguins.
Oh, yes, the countryside is lovely. Much more beautiful than I can capture with my inferior cameras. 😍 And yes, the randomness of my satnav is becoming legendary, although a lot of it is down to me spending too much time enjoying the view and missing turnings! 🤣 The zoo was a careless act, largely due to misinterpreting the words "wildlife park" as "safari park" and assuming large open spaces with free-roaming lions, monkeys, and giraffes! A mustake I make often. In other words, I assume I can enjoy the animals without leaving my vehicle or encountering humans! Lol Anyway, thanks for watching, Ros 😘x
Haha! Glad you spotted that. Yes, one of the best pub names out there, I think. Shame they wouldn't let me stay. I'd planned to feature them quite prominently, but alas, 'twas not to be. Thanks for watching, Kevvie. 🐧😘x
Oh wow for seeing a llama or alpaca! My brother's wife loves alpaca's. Haha the smell of manure reminds me of home as where my parents live it smells of manure sometimes too (one of the neighbours has cows so we smell that manure, on the other side is a field that another farmer fertilises sometimes, fertiliser isn't a nice smell though imo, that's shutting your doors and windows time haha, when it has just happened). It looks like a nice old village! That sounds like a dangerous story but one I'd like to hear one day if you're willing to share. Oh wow for a steep hill. We don't really have that many of them here in the Netherlands, so I associate steep hills / mountains with holiday / being in another country haha. They are beautiful views indeed! Haha. Yay for a polite motorcyclist. Oh wow sheep on the road! Yes that path looks too narrow to be a road, how odd of Google. It looks beautiful there though. And aww lambs! Adorable. Aww for the ruin being unimpressive. Your better looking cousin 😂. I like meerkats! Nice with the music. Aww and penguins! Oh and an alpaca! I agree, it's sad for the animals in small enclosures. Aww for your back hurting. Haha penguins achieved! Yes that is beautiful countryside! Hi to the cows! Aww for having no signal up the hill. Wow that is a very narrow track. Such a great video again 😍🥰😘 x.
Gaia, as usual you've put a lot of effort into a delightful comment. But I worry that you will start finding it a chore. I know I've said this before, but please don't ever feel obligated, just because you know I like it. I'd rather you just enjoy my videos and give them a quick thumbs up and "nice video" comment if it ever gets like that. However, I trust that you know your own mind, and your mind wirks similarly to mine, so hopefully it's just your preferred form of communication - as it is with me. Just know that I appreciate you regardless of your length - something my hubby might say to me! 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, thank you, as ever, for being you. 🌞🌈💕😘x
"The road goes ever on and on" made me think of the hobbits and right then you passed some idyllic Hobbiton-like sceneries. What a nice coincidence! Lol "I love the smell of manure in the morning" well it's kind of a nice nostalgic smell, I can understand 😄 What, you've been in danger of getting shot in Westbank? 😱 I must hear this story. So many sheep! 🐑🐑🐑 Beautiful countryside. Awww, meercats are so cute! But how on earth did you find yourself at zoo when you don't even like zoos? 😄 Sorry about your backpain, I hope you're feeling better now! Moo! 🐄🐄🐄
I was singing Gandalf's song because it felt so like Hobbiton. Not coincidence at all. 😁 I also like it in the afternoons and evenings too. Manure is good. Manure is nice. Nomnomnom. 😲🤮🚑 I spent a little time in the Middle East, back in the day. May have crossed a few borders I shouldn't have. 😉 Oh, yes, that area is really gorgeous. Shame about the nasty postman who inhabits it. (I cut him out of the episode, but I think I mentioned him to you at the time). Meercats! 😍🥰💕 I made a list of interesting-sounding places without doing any research. A "wildlife park" suggests to me a large safari park where the animals roam free - as they always did at the safari parks I would visit as a child. But these little zoos give themselves misleading names, and I keep getting fooled! 😡 Thank you for watching. Moo! 😘x
Kit, my dream is over..... i have sold my van today. I wasn't using it enough to justify the cost of insuring, servicng and taxing it...... and the cost of petrol is just out of my league nowadays..... i'm so sad, but relieved. It's a mixed emotion really..... i wanted to spend time away from home wild camping and visiting lovely places, but i will just have to be happy going out 'for the day' in my ordinary car instead. It's probably a good thing in the end as my bank balance now looks a little bit healthier and i've no need to worry about something going wrong with it that could be an expensive fix. So why am i so sad at selling it?
Dear fellow, I am so sorry to hear this. Of course only you can know what's the right thing to do in your situation, and I'm sure you thought long and hard about it. But what a shame. I'm so sorry. Well, being more financially secure and removing a huge expense will certainly make things easier, and help you sleep better at night. I can only hope that things improve and you are able to try van life again sometime in the future. All the best, my friend. 💕😘x
Your videos are now part of my Sunday evening of finally sitting down to relax and watch your adventures. Thanks for taking us along 🚐
