Starr & Michael | 8-29-12

At the Vegas chapel, Kristina tells Starr and Michael to say hello to Mrs. Trey Mitchell! She assures them she did it to save "Mob Princess" and Michael is upset Kristina just took Trey at his word. His dad has history with Sonny. Kristina accuses Michael of lying -- it can't be true. Trey admits that he lied - to Starr. He pretended to have mob connections to make the wedding more dramatic. He knew Starr would tell Michael and it would be Romeo and Juliet meets the Sopranos. Michael knocks Trey down and chokes him until Starr pulls him off and they leave.
In their hotel room, Michael tells Starr he learned how to fight in prison -- he had to learn how to defend himself. He was pretty messed up for a while and she wonders if he could let his anger get out of control with her. Her dad and uncle are very brutal and it made her sick. She knows he is different because he does not enjoy it. He promises that he would never hurt her and does not want her to be afraid of him. The more she knows about him, the safer she feels with him.

I like how at the end Starr became more serious and direct about his anger issues..I like the fact that michael was even concerned about how she felt about how she view him.. It shows how much he cares

The conversation between Starr & Michael about his anger issues I knew would eventually happen. I'm glad that Starr was upfront and direct with Michael instead of turning a blind eye. Starr showed the right balance of concern & compassion regarding the matter and Michael was open and sincere.

I agree with the previous posts. Michael and Starr need their own storyline minus Trey and Kristina. Can't wait to see what happens next with these two. Love GH and love MiStarr!!!!!

Go Michael! I've been wanting Michael to punch him for a long time now lol. Trey got exactly what he deserved. I kinda feel bad for Kristina everybody seems to just use her.
I'm glad that Starr told Michael she feels safe around him. I don't think he would've handle it well if he even thought for a second that she was afraid of him.

OMG! I just started catching up on Michael and Starr and am loving them. But I swear I was just telling a friend they remind me so much of Jason and Courtney. They are even styling Starr like the days when Courtney was with Jason. It uncanny how much they remind me of Journey in a really good way. Then add CD have many of SB mannerisms.

The writers need to separate Michael/Starr from those two nitwits Trey and Kristina--both of whom I cannot stand. I loved the scenes at the end. Starr needs to know that Michael is loving but he does have issues. We need to see from the writers some of Starr's complexity as well. She is no perfect prom queen type which is why so many of us thought they would be a great match.
