Ashhurst Electric Tramway - back garden launch 1997

The launch of Alan Maw's back garden tram 1997 (before any fancy paintwork was done). Alan bent, shaped & fitted all the track rails, made the `turntable' as well as the overhead power lines. The tram ran on batteries before the pantograph & power lines were completed. Many years of work went into this project, with Alan designing and making almost every single part of the tram - however the final beautiful paintwork was done professionally by Andrew, the son of his friend Jeff Brown.
