Some folks have a few knocking about, but never any dedicated comic sellers. TBH your hard pushed to find dedicated Comic book sellers at a comic con these days!
Lots of great toys. KO Frankensteins monster, the Fright Night fangs, the Mighty Max sets, all the MOCs. 😮 Noice! Battle Beast box was a thing of beauty. Hunting Dragonriders of the Styx currently. Thanks Theo.
Great video Theo! Nice to see Marc Blue Harvest and Lowbot there! I've got a 2000 sofubi version of that very same King Walder/Muton in its original purple, but it's about an inch shorter than the Henshins so he looks like a bad tempered Dwarf standing next to them. That Turgore reminds me of Oculus, an 80s figure with an rubber eyeball for a head that used to fire off! Had one, gave it away...typical. 😂
Top video as always I can’t believe I missed this fair I wasn’t even aware it was on, great to be able to see the footage though so I at least got a look at what I missed lol
My first job at SOTA Toys was sculpting variant heads for a couple of those House Of The Dead figures for Palisades, particularly that Heirophant and the zombie guy with claw hands...
@slimehousetv yeah I was one of the sculptors there from 2000-2007. It use to be called SOTA Sculpure and Design before we made Street Fighter action figures. We use to make prototypes for companies such as Palisades Toys, Toycom, Mattel, Toybiz, X-Plus etc... We started making our own action figures starting with Janna Jameson and Adult Superstars figures under the name Plastic Fantasy to keep it separate from legit collectable action figures and family oriented products.
@@trapjaw73 ahh man we could talk for hours I'm sure, I still have one of those fantasy figures, although her rubber clothes deteriorated a long time ago! Retro ghetto is a big collector of Street Fighter action figures so cool you had so much involvement man
Best NEC show by far for me. So pleased with my King Waruder Jr pick up. Pleased you found the Liger kit also, love the packaging artwork on those kits. Seeing Turgore in person was definitely a highlight, he looks so good! You definitely would have sold a shed load on the day 😄 thanks for adding a link to my channel also, really appreciate it 👊
Maaaaan, this video really got me itchy to collect Captain Planet toys. I remember having Duke Nukem as a kid and loved watching it glow in the dark. I'm actively hunting the 4" Bandai Kakurangers/Alien Rangers. I managed to snag Yellow last summer for $2, which is INSANE. Hoping I get lucky with finding the other 4.
11:16 just spotted those Jurassic Park figures and vehicle sets, really nice. Currently I'm tring to rebuild my JP collection along with others (such as Star Wars Micro Machines). Btw great video mate 🔥👍
Nice video mate wish I had my pic done and featured in your video but a huge thanks for the mention shame about the skeleton army but I'll keep looking for you
You know what bro, I honestly think you're eyes are pretty good at seeking out Cool stuff so it's hard to say what you should film more of. Personally I love to see the bins and bagged lose figures as I got alot of my toys that way growing up and really enjoy a good rummage haha love to see it. Only things I'm looking for that are just little pieces are The back piece of the dragon shield for the mmpr 8 inch green ranger and Lanard Toys vintage the corps figures and accessories (specifically the Star Force accessories haha. Keep up the good work!
All those xeno's right out the gate, I knew it was going to be a great fair. It's always alien time! 💚Those cows at 12:04 were too cute, same with those Fright Knight glow in the dark fangs! Awesome pickups, Theo!
Excellent episode onec again Theo 👍 We really wanted to go to this show but just couldn't make it this time, maybe in September. At 17 mins 56 seconds did I really see a vintage 12 inch Ig-88 for £99!
I knew it was too good to be true haha, wishful thinking at 99 quid otherwise that would be the bargain of the show! I even wondered if it was a reissue but the reissue doesn't look exactly the same. Definitely a grail item for me that, I'd even have a broken one and mend him like an Ugnaught from cobbled together parts haha
I'm an X-Men Toybiz collector - its a huge line, with variants and spin-offs/oddities. I like mine loose so I can pose and move about related to character story arc. Obviously love the artwork, but just never been interested in keeping things carded/mint and the toybiz line has always been relatively cheap to pick up. Obviously the new animation will increase interest. I was super happy to pick up a Master mold head at the N.E.C, one of the few I really wanted to add!.
I get ya,you collect for nostalgia & vintage,i am a original 80,s kid, movies, repeats of old 60's & 70',s & all the good stuff shows & movies in the 80's,,but I collect modern stuff looks better & more realistic but I respect you vintage peeps, great vid

Hey Theo, I did you at NEC but you were in the middle of getting those radiation ranger parts so didn't disturb you 😁. Turgore sofubi looked awesome though. Hopefully catch up next time. A line I really want is the Popy Ulysses 31 stuff. It's so expensive though and I have never seen it at a fair. Have you ever seen any?
Cool video. It's amazing how many American toys make it over to the UK. I've never been to an NEC, but do any dealers there sell the Dennys Fisher Dr Who toys? I didn't see any in this video. Thanks and I hope your Sofubi sells out!
Honestly, with the release of Warhammer: The Old World, all the oldhammer stuff is going up in price. People were already starting to collect them harder. Loads of people preferred and missed Warhammer Fantasy and disliked, or outright hated, Age of Sigmar. So prices were going up and The Old World made them jump. If you wanted those, you should probably have bought them. They'll probably raise more over the next couple of years.
24:22 who’s that handsome bast*rd…… oh ye it’s Turgoe 😂 Such an amazing day I am still buzzing off it. Great coverage of the event Theo and so cool to see Turgore in the flesh/vinyl. Your a bloody legend 🙌🏻
£250 for dc super heroes toybiz superman?!? Clearly doesn’t keep up with the prices on the internet, mint on card on eBay between £30/£60 I’ve got three in my watch list now for £35.99 and £54.
