always appreciate these CR
I had the privilege of sparring Derrick down here in Key West when he fought on ESPN Friday Night Fights a few years back. It was cool cause I was in amateur boxing with the PAL and he gave me a shot at sparring with him because of my speed. Real chill dude and a really smart boxer.
Yeah man these vids you put up are proper.
I watched the replay tonight too. he did a hell of a job
Thanks.. there is going to be a lot more to come..
I love the way this guy Derrick fights! Wow!
He is much better than his record indicates.. thrown to the wolves early, fought a lot of undefeated fighters early in his career
mad nice! a lot of action, i'd rather watch these videos than watch some of these pro fights!
For sure, no problem..
god damn boxing is so tiring. How many miles do you guys think they run?
guy in the white is hella fast and has got a nice jab
dude in the white is also compromising skills for swag by keeping his chin the air like that, I get that he's trying to look confident and cocky but if he plans on going anywhere in boxing that's gotta change.
you wouldnt think from this that derrick wilson had 3 losses
He was throwing both hands
The guy in the white reminds me of Roy Jones lol
We from Florida...we all either fight like Roy Jones, Andre Berto, or Nate Campbell... that's just how we do lol. But it's funny you say that because when I first say Derrick fight (he was 9 or 10 yrs old) everybody said he fights just like Roy!!! Later on whey we were in camp... he showed a little bit of Berto and Roy!!!
Derrick could have been one the greatest fighters ever had he not been throwen to the wolves and had more discapline and kept his hands up and worked on defense. He was a hell of a fighter though. Member when nate told roy jones derricks hands were faster then his. Lol
I don't understand how people are able to use those nose guarding headgears in sparring. If the guy I'm fighting is squared up right in front of me, I can't see where his feet are going, where his hook punches are gonna land, or anything.
But primarily he was using the left...
I was wondering why he almost never used his right.
4:40!!
yeah sounds loud but no power, last i checked he got koed
Wilson moves a lot like Rau'shee Warren. Decent head movement but not nesecarilly defensively sound.
myboy derrick outta ft.myers
What happened to Wilson, he was a good prospect, he just fell off outta no where
just what i said
Someone needs to teach this dude how to throw a real punch. All he's doing is slapping
says the dude sitting behind a screen
