Surf really needs more exposure nowadays; it's one of those semi-forgotten genres that deserves another shot.
Agreed! Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies, mostly because of the epic surfabilly soundtrack.
They briefly brought it back for a few songs in the 90s and 2000's. Like that one Black Eyed Peas song.
Considering garage rock (pre British Invasion, 1962) is the core of modern rock, surf rock should get much respect as it grew directly out of rockabilly and surf rock then morphed into garage.
It’s seriously the missing link between Elvis Presley and the Hard driving psychedelic and folk rock of the 60s and onward

The Tele sounds amazing with whatever amp you’re running. Not thought of as a surf guitar but I dig it. And those are perfect for adding a Bigsby surface mount tremolo.

I heard hundreds of surf songs but this is Best Surf Sound my ears have ever heard, with mean riffs bouncing around my head? Just WOW.
Had to listen again, would love to see ya jam w/Dick Dale sometime. I love the twang that's infused w/ this. Won't be long, that when ya tour,us poor folks won't be able to afford to come see you. Sucks for us but good for you. Saw Joe Bonamassa about 12 years ago and the last time he came to Milwaukee I couldn't afford even the cheap seat. But you have been blessed, and your talent deserves to be appreciated by everyone.

thesoundtree dude I was thinking green screen! I was thinking having the background blank with flat colour animated lines blasting out for all the trebly stuff and like shockwave bass radiating from their feet.

I have yet to find one of your videos with the names of the drummer, the base player, and the other guitarist. I think they deserve it.
PermaKulHurTur Both the drummer and the bass player’s names are in the title of the video. The bass player is Mark Winchester, who plays bass and tours with Brian Setzer. The drummer is Rick Lonow, who plays drums for Poco and Loretta Lynn. I am using a loop pedal in this one to cover both guitar parts myself, so the “other guitarist” would be me. 🤘
