Hot diggity damn! It was like watching another trailer. lol. I gotta restate how much I like that style of drift. It's much more useful than Unleashed's and Generations' just because of how sharp a turn you can make with minimal time loss(or control loss ++glares at that one drift turn in Empire City++). You *know* with this version of Sonic, Eggman is 8 flavors of Epson salt in a sandstorm. 😄
Hmmmm i don't know there were pretty useful in those games especially in generations but i do like how it was used here tho 😗
@@raphaelbrown6314 Oh for sure, the old drift was always useful, but this bad boy is just so precise while still kinda having some drift action of its own.
I’d say they’re both applicable for different things I think this works a lot more here cause it’s srb2 everything is kinda rigid so a lot of these turns are 90 degrees so it’s more useful and makes sense. Where I’d say in gens it’s like, idk going from not that much control (cause of boost n ig just how the games designed) to full control. Imo it’d be jarring. Don’t mind the ramble it’s me adding on rather an argument

Grindersky was a beta tester waaaaay before release lol. He made a few runs before.
Actually, that's what I didn't mean... I mean like they're the 2 people that officially speedrun him, rather than Grindersky beta testing him.
