It contains the military drills from peacetime and wartime and the movements are centuries old. The ceremonies are executed by elite soldiers. The Guard Mounting or Changing the Guard is an example of an upholding of an old military tradition.
You can sure see the British military influence in every thing and every step they take. They are a very sharp unit.
