As military action against migrant smugglers continues, the Libyan authorities are playing a chaotic cat and mouse game with an endless tide of migrants and are tiring of their role as Europe's border control.
"They drove 115 of us to the coast in trucks. We slept there one night. The next day in the morning we left for Italy by boat." Like hundreds of thousands of others, Ibrahim put his life in the hands of organised smugglers. They were picked up by Libyan patrols. Now he is being held at one of many detention centres near Libya's coastline. The sheer numbers at these centres is evidence of the Libyan authorities' considerable efforts to control migration; but the strain on resources is apparent. "You have to feed them all. Sometimes you wonder: wouldn’t it be better to let them go to Europe," says General Abdelbaset Marwan of government taskforce Libya Dawn.

It has a recognized parliament, president and institutions. It's not under islamic rule but a federal one. While trying to rebuild a country from 24 years of civil war it is also fighting Al Shabaab terrorist in the south.
The stream of refugees has slowed down over the past 8 years from Somalia. Over the past several years nearly 100.000 Somali's went back.
I suggest you stop trying to fix new problems with old information. Most refugees are Ethiopian, Eritreans and Senegalese. Go look up the public records that have been published.

The demographic of Africa, Iraq, Syria, Lybia & so on just won't physically fit, hello! This is a terrible and unfortunate situation,most of these migrants flee from failed states,states failed by the west(mostly Europe),so i feel Libyas pain,they should just let them go to Europe. Europe should take responsibility for the global damage theyve caused over the course of history.

EU really need to support Libya, becuase not all immigrant are willing to come to Europe. Some which to stay in Libya to work supposing it's a safe country to live. There's work in Libya and cost of living cost less but the major problem is the Libyan Mafian's who maltreat and enslaved them and make them work hard without payment.
