They want to be on Broadway and sing and dance and act, but they can't take criticism? When they're in an and someone says they're ballet skills are terrible are they going to run out crying, or take more ballet classes? This is bull. I'm younger than all of these girls and I know better. If I had the chance to dance for Abby I'd take her criticism and make her proud by taking extra ballet lessons. Jill is also a freaking trip! She asked Abby and got her answer. Every one of those girls did a terrible job in ballet. Don't get mad and cry about it, take your kid to get extra LESSONS.
It is a show stupid this is just drama not real life. They most likely and do actually take criticism. This is just added drama. You are younger but not smarter.
Well also they are surrounded by toxicity since they were 6-8 like seriously that's one of the most important ages for children too be in a safe nuturing and non toxic place like at that age they are old enough to understand but not old enough to realise it's not normal

Honestly no we all have no idea whats going on inside her head and i can imagine after years of being surrounded by people who drag drama with them everywhere they go, there are breakingpoints. I dont think Kendall was being childish here, her emotions were just high so she walked away and told her mom she wanted to leave and so they did. She didnt scream or curse, she was just done. It’s the adults that need to grow up because they are toxic for their surroundings.

Ebony Grant nah if anyone overreacted it was Jill. She picks fights over anything really, i would be done too if that was my mom. Also i feel like Kendall developped some kind of anxiety disorder during her ALDC time (which is often very obvious) but in this episode she handled it rather mature than childish. I just feel sad for her (and the other girls too) having to grow up in a toxic environment. Dont get me wrong, i love this show but i could write a book about things that were said and done that are just n o t o k a y.
Abby was very nice and sweet when she gave Kendall her "correction." The one day they show Abby being nice on camera, Kendall takes out all her frusteration on Abby. That one day.
Kendall always exhibited signs that she wanted to leave & didn’t want to be there, and that this was all Jill’s idea to have her on “Dance Moms”... Like for instance here, she was fine leaving with the prospect of never coming back, and it’s also happened TWICE before in ALDC Pittsburgh when Kendall would mention that she didn’t want to be there at the ALDC anymore and didn’t want to receive Abby Lee’s extremely harsh yelling anymore. I don’t want to draw assumptions, but the signs TO ME read as though that this was all Jill’s roundabout way of claiming time in the spotlight for herself through Kendall, A.K.A the infamous _“Momager living their dreams vicariously through their child”_ trope. I mean, Jill did have her own tango duet during a recital in ALDC Pittsburgh, AND she also said out loud (and then kind of regretted it) that she wished she was on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ when Abby Lee was announced as a guest judge for one week. 🤷🏽♀️

Steven Taylor yes, it’s very sad. I’m a SAG actor and I’ve also worked as a paid dancer on music videos and films. Music videos were the worst. You work so hard for your money, and it’s a buyout. No residuals etc.
So many people come to Los Angeles from out of state wanting their chance to be in a music video, that they will work for little pay, with no union to protect them.

yes except for the fact that this is a competition team. if one person is off then the rest of the girls suffer. if your head isn't in the game then don't be a part of the team bc thats just ruining everybody else's chances of wanting to be on a winning team. on top of that, they got paid for being on the show and dancing as well (and a pretty good amount of money) .
frances osugi i get that it’s wrong to let the team down, but opportunities come when they come, if you don’t take them, you might regret your choice.
Plus it makes for good reality tv when the drama happened 😂

Same, she acts pretty entitled at times. I jojo, brynn and Camryan have all state times were Kendall was mean to them and treated them like they were beneath her. Mostly her moms fault, from what I observed she treated her kid like a kind of god and it’s extremely unhealthy. A lot parents think their kid is great but they have to balance things when you become a parent and not do everything single thing for your kid. They eventually have to do things for themselves. Jill annoys be with attitude that that her Kendall is a star. Cause the entertainment industry is brutal. You might be popular for a few years and than you’re not anymore and it’s especially difficult for child stars when they transition to adulthood. I hate when parents put their kids into acting or dance, music for them just to be famous. It should be about the art of acting, dancing and singing.
For once I agree with Abby, she is Kendall’s teacher, she is supposed to give her corrections, it’s to make her better.
This whole season was just Kendall and Jill leaving and going back in the studio😂😂

The way Abby lets Kendall talk to her sometimes is insane… imagine if Chloe said/did half the things Kendall has done.. Kendall has given Abby attitude and acted out a number of times and sometimes Abby reacted much more mildly than usual. I think she had a soft spot for Kendall in a way. Bc if that were Chloe, Paige, or Nia she would have snapped their necks. Chloe, Paige, and Nia have gotten their heads bitten off for MUCH less.

In all honesty, to play the Devil's Advocate a little bit, Jill had a point. We saw on the show that it was really, really difficult to succeed without being Abby's favorite or a fan favorite. Maddie succeeded in part because Abby gave her a true chance to nurture her potential, Chloe succeeded in part because the fans saw her potential, but Kendall got neither. And if you look at the girls now, Maddie and Kenzie are out touring, Nia is on a TV show, Chloe is acting and does routine YT videos, Kalani is on Brat and exploring the fashion industry, and JoJo... we don't have to go that far.
Anyways, Jill saw that in the situation she was in, Kendall wasn't going to get to the top. The fans weren't supporting her, Abby wasn't supporting her, and in the situation she was in things were only getting worse. I think that, if Kendall had been presented with some sort of bigger opportunity like Jill had suggested, she would have been much more successful than she is now. When we think of Dance Moms, we think of Maddie and Chloe and Mackenzie, and Kendall was always the one who was there, good but not quite good enough to be the best.
TL;DR: Jill had a point in wanting Kendall to be doing more than just dance, and to want to explore opportunities away from Abby and dance.

That is why jill should of never got mad when holly took things in her own hands and got nia in auditions, and performances herself. Nia didn't have much support either and is doing good without Abby.
I dont agree. Kendall isn't doing so well because she isn't going after any opportunities. Besides Maddie, Mackenzie and Kalani all the other girls didn't have Abby support like Kendall. The difference is that they worked hard whilst the show was going on and after they left for opportunities.
Jojo before leaving dance moms was selling her bows and making RUclips videos. We saw Kalani doing fashion week whilst on dance moms. Nia got her singing and acting gigs on her own as we saw Abby tried to sabotage it. And Chloe even as a fan fave had to work hard for what she has now.
Chloe could of easily ended up like the hylands who were also fan faves. They never amounted to anything in the industry afterwards because they didn't try and keep on working for opportunities. (But in their defence it seems like Brooke and Paige wanted normal lives)
The problem is that Kendall didn't try other opportunities whilst on dance moms because her mother signed a singing contract with Abby so Kendall couldn't make/release any music without Abby.
In s4 or s5 Abby was interested in Kendalls singing career until she moved on to the next best thing (Brynn). Each seasons Abby has favourites.
Kendall isn't doing enough with the opportunities she has. Also on dance moms she wasnt the nicest girl to be around. We have seen her talk back to adults (ashley and even Abby) being rude to her peers (jojo, Brynn , Nia, Cameron) and even talking behind her peers backs (Chloe and Jojo). People didn't like Kendall for that which is why she has less fans.
This matter is Jill and kendalls doing. Jill trusted Abby too much with kendalls career and Kendall didn't use her time on dance moms wisely.

In life mommy isn’t always going to be there, and Kendall may be more sensitive, but she has to toughen up a little bit, or the world is going to be a cruel place. The toughest ones were the ones to go on to bigger careers. Maddie worked day and night and went through Abby’s mental games, and is doing amazing. Chloe listened to Abby’s abuse and became a star. Every time Jojo got screamed at, she walked back in with her head held high. Kendall couldn’t take criticism and left with every comment, even when Abby wasn’t being mean.

Kendall really needs to grow up. You can't burst into tears or get huffy at the slightest bit of criticism. Criticism is what makes you work harder and strive to be better. And jill needs to but out and stop speaking for her daughter. Shes the main reason kendall hasnt improved as a dancer, insisting everything she does is good and a correction is her being picked on.
From my view she wasn't upset or cry over criticism but the arguing between Abby and her mom. Criticism doesn't always make you work harder or strive to do better.

Something that I found very hypocritical about Jill is that during this episode at pyramid she was saying how loyal is she to Abby but then when Abby corrects Kendall, she storms out. The only loyal people were Holly and Nia as they at Abby's studios for 7 years and didn't leave. Holly and Nia also returned to the studio after the blowout fight with Abby in the beginning of season 5 when Abby ruined Nia's audition.
Everyone calls Kk a brat and sometimes she is but she’s the only kid that is confident enough to stand up to Abby on her own! She doesn’t let Abby bully her or put her down! I love that about her!!
