Racing at my favorite all time track we NEED a WIN!!!

- We had to Benton Speedway tonight! Recently reopened the last time that this track was raced was 2014. We have several wins under our belt here as we would come on Friday nights and usually be the card to beat. Hopefully tonight we can continue showing strength at my favorite all-time track.

I used to give my buddy pure hell for not doing good, then I bought me a late model two years, and you won't hear me give nobody shit!! It's hard especially I'm first generation driver and do it all myself! Keep digging!

It’s my first year of racing and I do spin out a lot just makes me feel better to see more experienced drivers spinning out once in awhile doesn’t make me feel as bad but you still drove great and car looks good! Keep on racing and bringing awesome videos
If you don't occasionally spin out, you aren't driving hard enough. The idea is to dance right at the edge of the spin cliff, so to speak. Modifieds are pretty easy to spin with limited downfotce and small tires.
Considering where you started and the track conditions I think you done good Tim. Good job on a 2nd place podium finish!

I personally think a first person view would be awesome and really I don't know of any other RUclipsr that uses the first person view so it would also be something kinda unique for awhile to your channel.

All the best racers set in the grand stands lol. I've done it and it's hard with 20 plus cars or even 10 cars. It's easy to overdrive or make simple mistakes
I don't care if you never win another race you will still be my favorite mod driver

Driving a racecar is easy. It's just like driving down the highway. Now, going fast in a racecar is a completely different thing. When tracks are peeling, you have to be careful when you venture up top. There are crumbs tossed up there that can catch you out. That track had some character with the extra helping of crumbs. That makes it a challenge.

Tim's right, it doesn't take much to lose it at speed. There is a delicate balance between, in control and out of control.
It doesn't take much to lose it when you can't drive. Funny a full field of 24 UMP mods can run 50 lap feature and not all spin themselves out.
Hop you’re ass in one and try it . I wanna see you hook up 700 hp to the ground on 8 inch tires and a slick track .

i second that... passed 3 cars in 4 laps 10th to 7th and there was still mail left.. then came a flat and still wasn't he wasn't done yet🏁🏁🏁🎌
that feature race with Tim getting that left front flat reminds of a race my grandpa raced... he run second all night one night 4 laps to go and first place spun out in front of him, grandpa managed to sling the car sideways and they door slammed each other, but then someone ran in to the left rear wheel broke the caliper of grandpa's car, they had 2 minutes under a caution, ... got lucky... they didn't make the 2 minutes but there was another caution half lap in... within that time they managed to take the left front caliper off and put it on the rear, made out just in time and got his spot back both them and grandpa got second with no left front caliper and come to find out after the race, the J bar was missing.....it was wheelie up the last 4 laps like crazy
Grandpa always said.. you dont need the left front, it's there to catch u when ur foot gets lazy and u drop off the bars!!!
My dad used to say the skeeter’s down south could stand flat footed and screw a turkey. As for the camera angle, I’d love to see some foot 🦶🏻 work.

This is a track where restrictors are necessary. Pull some motor to left that LR drive harder on exit. Looks like 2 was a shine.

Bumpy track will do that. I try the run at 80% to minimize mistakes. Sometimes i go forward, sometimes i go backwards. You get the huck a buck in a 4 bar car your probably going around. It happens
Helmet camera would be cool as long as it doesn’t hinder you from getting out quick if you need to.

He needs to use a tickle bracket on his j-bar gooseneck teather cam! Plus his left shock booster clutch locator is upside down. I drive a car everyday so I’m an expert.
That and the price tags on everything is insane completely clapped out b mods still go for 5-6k
All that horsepower and it’s a shame you can only use a fraction of it on a track like that.
Looks like you took some of the “craziness” out of the car for the feature.

Never raced a mod but I have raced a late model and as junky as that track looked i was expecting it in 3&4
I do know that it looks easy from the stands.....but its hard...i had 7 seasons...3 features 14 heat wins...
What happened to the front of the hood at the end of the race?, it looked like there was a minor explosion.

First thing you need to do with the camera is turn it on put it on top of the car
Switched to the in-car so we couldn't see the LF "going down". lol
lol. Just checked that mud flying out the nose every time I entered turn one that should tell you that left rear was definitely down.
