Hey! Great video 🤍 just so you know, the hard case is supposed to be quite safe, but the screen protector is not really good for the retina screen :( I’m gonna switch from a 2017 MacBook Air to an M2 just like you pretty soon and I’m still trying to find a solution for the screen🥲🥲

Hey! Great video btw, just so you know, I’ve watched a couple videos on this laptop and they say that any screen accessories can affect the quality of the screen so be careful!.
Don’t put screen protector it will damage the screen because when you close the MacBook the screen and keyboard are extremely close to eachother and will damage so be careful

isn't it bad to use a hardshell case since it can put pressure on the hinge and inhibit heat flow? i also heard apple cautions people against using screen protectors or keyboard covers since they can damage the screen? these are genuine questions, i'm not sure if i should invest in a hardshell case myself or just stick with a soft cover haha
honestly... it never occurred to me😳i know dust plugs are bad, but I haven't heard about screen protectors and cases. Apple sells them hard cases and screen protectors so I assume that means it's safe:) I could be wrong though
stick with a soft cover. hardshell cases will only cause problems down the road.
Let her learn the hard way... the sleeve can stay tho.

macbook screens are super sensitive and screen protectors can sometimes damage them in the long run, just a heads up!

hi jane i am going to buy accessories of macbook air but i am still confused for keyboard cover whether its safe for macbook's screen or not pls tell me and also tell me by applying the case on it did u feel any problem on the hinge?
i’m no expert haha but i can say that i’ve been using cases on my macs for years and i’ve had no problems! i don’t use keyboard covers bc i find them annoying so i can’t say🙁

buy the usb extender for your adapter so bottom case does not need to be removed.

Screen Protectors are not advisable as it may interfere with the coating of thr screen that may void the warranty and ruined the screen in the long run.
how's the screen protector so far? I'm getting a case soon and apple cautions against these stuff but the majority of people have them on their laptops haha

Greeting from Italy; nice video! I want to ask you something: did you removed the screen protector during these months? I see a lot of people talking about the fact that the screen protector can damage the screen anti-glare surface treatment leaving stains that cannot be removed. Thank you!

There seem to be no slim sleeves for this model, they're all either 13" or 14". I have a case for travel but I want something slim for short trips to meetings. Manufacturers say to squeeze into 13" but I'd rather get one that is made for this dimension rather than one that's either too big or too small. Has anyone found one, either leather or faux leather thinness?

and you cant plug the adapter and charging cable at a time?
i use the usb-c charger (it can be plugged into the adapter), i never use the magsafe one
were you able to connect your logi pebble mouse via your macbook air bluetooth? coz, i cant, hence im getting adapters

they do unfortunately🙁 but I just charge my Mac with a USB-c cable when I use it

I’ve always used a case with mine and never had problems! I think it saved my Mac from a lot of scratches😊

so many bad reviews abt damaging the screens and bottom part of the device bc of cases. now that i found out a bit of a good feedback regarding these cases, i might give it a shot and put it back this time! >_

I've heard that the rubber keyboard cover can sometimes trap moisture droplets. So please be careful. These electronics are expensive, and water + expensive electronics aren't a good match like we all know.

I've had a few software and hardware issues (which is a bit annoying), but otherwise it runs well!
