This is a awesome video... as a 500e owner, I love how versatile and surprisingly well built that little electric bugger is. Random question... would you give a ball park idea of what that job cost the customer? Just curious.
I’m heartbroken that such a beautiful little car that I want so bad is so terribly designed that you have to remove the rear suspension to change the battery. I hate when you see car companies unconcerned about the longevity of their cars, or the ability for owners to take care of their cars themselves for a long period of time.
HOLY CRAP, WHERE IS THE HV SAFETY GEAR?!? Not only is this irresponsible to show others (especially because this is presented as a repair guide) but you Are putting your employees in danger! Read and follow the HV safety guidelines in the repair manual, pleeeease, and take this video down ASAP!
Amazing. I hope I never have to do any HV battery repair, but you better be sure I'm gonna bring my 500e to you guys for any repair, major or small.

~3k USD :)
You think you could take the battery and use it to power your home? It would be like having two power walls.

The 500e is actually very reliable
