The Ritual Aura - Time-Lost Utopia (drum cover) | Sebastian Lundström

New tom heads! New bass drum head! New pedal springs! New pedal settings! New me! (Well, maybe not that last one, but just back from vacation anyway…)
This album, and especially this song, really made a mark on me when it came out. Covering it feels astonishing. I miss spots here and there, but I think I’ve delivered most of the song’s essence and energy!
Challenges:
- Weird tempo switches mid-riff (!).
- Crazy arrangement. I had to do a lot of counting to try to figure this one out, and some parts I still haven’t figured out fully.
- 250 bpm is no walk in the park, but I’ve been practicing on a pad lately, and I feel that my blasts are getting better.
This took me 8 sessions, since May. Once again, it’s nowhere near perfect, but being able to get to this level with a song this complex in only 8 sessions is to me an enormous feat.
Please excuse a few tiny cuts: I have lag issues with my GoPros.

It's just the sound from the main GoPro (not the one on the feet)! Plus OnTrigger triggers that I record on my laptop using GarageBand. I guess I should put this in the description!

1)How you add metronome in track, when track have floating tempo?
2) You use trigger interface for your triggers?

1) In GarageBand you can show the metronome as a separate track, and split it into separate pieces with different tempos. 2) Yes, added some more info to the description of the video!
