Can you help me with below query. I came to Ireland as a Student and completed my masters in 2022. I got my Stamp1G in Oct 2022 and received the CSEP Permit in Nov 2022. I have got the appointment for stamp1 in 26th Jan 2023.( ie next week) My employer mentioned of termination as the performance could not meet their expectations.Termination will be in February 2023 So my question is my stamp 1G still valid as I am not converted to stamp 1 yet? If not, do I have an option to take back stamp1G? Also If I lose my job in March 2023, will I be eligible to stay back for 2 years based on stamp1G as I came in as a student? Or will I get only 6months period to stay here and find a job? Is termination due to low performance as case of redundancy? Please help on this?

I haven't gone for the stamp1 appointment on 26th Jan 2023. So is there an issue if I am holding stamp1G along with csep for more time till mid of march 2023, by that time I will get to know if I will be terminated or not( they will consider my performance till March and I could be either way, become permanent or terminated). So ideally I don't want to convert to stamp 1 or surrender my csep untill mid March. 2. Do I have an option to switch to another job before termination, since if one csep they cannot change jobs right for 12 months except for some special cases of redundancy and other conditions which is not my case. I have this question because I hold Stamp 1G and will this csep binds me from taking other job.? 3. If I convert to Stamp 1 now with csep and if am getting terminated by mid March, what would be my position to stay in Ireland. When I checked with the immigration team of my employer, they mentioned that I will have to leave the country within 28 days of being terminated and the 6months stay back for searching job is applicable only in case redundancies.Is this correct?( My question is since I have come in as student with eligiblity to stay for 2 years, will this benefit be taken away if I lose job on stamp1 with csep) 4. Last option, if I surrender my csep now, will everything be ok, so I get time to stay for 2 years to find a job. I would request to suggest some best action, at your earliest,that could be taken considering the overall situation. Thanks again
