Looking beautiful Tamara. I'm impressed with how many correctors, and concealers are going to find new homes. It's probably been 5 years when I gave up on them. Enjoyed hearing your reviews, and rationale. Blessings, and joy..MaryEllen
Thank you MaryEllen! It's actually a little embarassing how many I have LOL...probably a good time for a low buy no buy for concealers and use what I have! Have a great week MaryEllen!
I agree with your other viewer's about the Kosas concealer it definitely has a funky smell after a few months. I personally have noticed that a few of these new "clean" brands have the same problem with certain products like Milk blush sticks and bronzers have a rancid odor after a couple of months, the Saie tinted moisturizer the same. After working in the beauty industry for over 40 years, I believe that ingredients that keep a product from going rancid is what the clean brands are missing. Personally, I don't go thru products that quickly so it's a waste of money to buy these products if they are going to go rancid so quickly.
I still love both the Pixie corrector and the Garnier roller. So grateful for your original recommendations. The Garnier is a keeper for me and my 70 yr old dry, lined, under eyes. I love the shade, the gentle highlight that helps me look awake and the fact that it never ever settles into creases. I actually use it as my eye shadow primer! 💖
I purchased the Pixi Corrector and thought it was far to orange for me. I truly didn’t get why you loved it so much. Then I finally looked on the bottom and had inadvertently purchased the Pixi “Awakening Apricot” Corrector! 🤣 Just this week I bought another in the peach and like it so much better!
I love the LYS concealer and foundation, too. They are clean products with added skin-loving ingredients. I am 50 yrs old for reference. I have been gravitating towards clean beauty.
As always, you are my only go-to for product info and reviews. I will be trying a couple of these, as my long-time Mac concealer seems a bit drying to me now. Thank!! 🌸
What a great idea - giving reviews while you declutter!!! I love the Bobbi Brown corrector and actually find the lighter you go the more emollient, so light medium bisque is kind of dry on me, and Pixi was dry on me too, but mayo need to retry it. I feel like we might be opposite - NARS is dry on me. So I’m scared to try Kosas. Also I feel like the pump on MAC’s concealer is everyone’s complaint too. I just started using L’Oréal age perfect (just a dot) again because it’s ok for a liquid. And shape tape hydrating really does cover and doesn’t seem too dry. But keep in mind my favorite is Tarte Creaseless for covering under eye circles but when I’m really tired it doesn’t even quite get rid of them.
I learned about the Pixi Peach corrector from you and I fell in love! I have hereditary dark purple raccoon eyes. Not to mention dealing with health issues. I get the lighter shade and it works beautifully. I don’t have to use as much concealer, brightens up my eyes and I don’t look like I have black eyes all the time. Thank you, Tamara! 😊💜💖
I decluttered all but 3 of my under eye products; Neutrogena color corrector in light peach, MAC concealer, and Milani. So far so good because I don't have to think about it!
Under eye concealing is my biggest struggle. The 3 concealers I’ve been using for the last 9 months are the Lancôme Tiente Idole, Kosas, and NYX bare with me. My kosas started getting a funky smell after only having it a few months. I’ve been really liking the NYX but I agree with the pump and never being able to get the right amount. For color correcting I use Nars radiant creamy corrector. I have the pixie and CT but they seem too drying under my eyes. Not giving up on them though. Thank you Tamara 😁
So helpful! Declutters are quickly becoming the most helpful in deciding which products to try. I'm still trying lots of things, having just gotten back into skincare/makeup after a several year hiatus. At 55 now, the game has changed :) Anyway, I found I only needed a brightener in the tear trough and at the outer corner of my eye. I had issues with all of them creasing/settling. Same for eye shadow. So I actually just don't wear any type of brightener/concealer/corrector at this point. But making notes for down the road.
Great video! It's true - I love the CT corrector. It doesn't work under every type of concealer, but it's great under the Kosas and Clinique's Even Better. The texture works better for me than other correctors and because I have puffiness under my eyes, I don't care for something brightening or reflective under the eyes as those kinds of products accentuate my puffiness. So fun to sit on the floor with you and LOVED the ASMR effect - lol
Thank you! My cousin is going to be thrilled to be receiving the gorgeous CT! It's funny how different our preferences can be. Achieved ASMR! So fun. Happy Sunday ❤️
My top two favorites are the Lancôme and No 7 Lift and Luminate Serum Concealer. The shades run cool, it’s hydrating, very easy to blend, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. I’m 57 with very dry skin for reference. I think if you give it a try (and find a good shade match) you won’t be disappointed 😊
Very informative on the correctors and concealers. I’ve been trying different ones and been using the Milani concealer and very happy with the results 😊 thank you for sharing! Have a nice evening 🌺
Hi Tamara, just recently discovered your channel and loving it. I struggle bad with concealers but recently got the lancome one. Im still playing with it. Im gonna get the Pixie correcter tho 👍
I’m having a concealer moment. I’m on the hunt for something magical! Personally I love the shape tape, but only on days where I have the time to apply it very carefully. I also have the NYX strum concealer, which I had high hopes for but in the end I just don’t like it. However, I do like it as an eyelid primer. It doesn’t crease, is pretty sheer and it evens out the color on my eyelids! I also have the garnier roller and I really like it for no-makeup days. It’s easy and sheer and just looks nice. Anyway thank you for this fun decluttering video. I really enjoyed it, and I’m going to look for the pixi corrector at target!
Thank you, Tamara. Very interesting selection and declutter of products! Concealer is one item I cannot live without... I like full coverage matt finish concealers and each tube lasts me years because I use a tiny amount. My opinions here: My favorite concealer is the old Effacernes by Lancome and find it better than the most recent Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear. I prefer the squeeze tube to the too large doe-foot applicator, with less chance of adulterating or oxidizing the product inside the tube. I continue the search for a perfect drugstore-priced concealer and have a few that I alternate for every day use. L'oreal Infallible 24hr Full Wear surprised me, I found it comparable to the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear, at a lower price. The NYX concealer serum you showed works OK for me, but with less coverage. Revlon ColorStay Skin Awaken concealer works too, although I don't like the sponge applicator. ELF Camo hydrating did not work for me. The difficult issue with drugstore concealers is to find the right color, sometimes I use the off-toned concealers as eyeshadow base. For correctors: I bought the Pixie per your recommendation and like it, but prefer the Annabelle corrector (Canadian brand), it's less stiff.
I’m 60 and have so many concealers it scares me. I really like the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind. I use 95 and 100. I also have the Brightening shade but I don’t really care for it to add lightness to the divot under my eyes.
Charlotte tilbury is my favorite corrector. Also LOVE the garnier roller ball. You don’t have to worry about it looking cakey , very good for mature skin.
CT is a good one...many people LOVE it which is why I don't want it to go to waste. I just prefer the Pixi ...even though a bit dry...it stays in place on my inner corner and really brightens/corrects. My cousin is going to be thrilled to have the CT LOL. And I am super sad about the Garneir...its been a goto for years. But the darn denatured alcohol freaks me out. But I do pre hydrate really well...hmmm...
Hi Tamara! I like this type of video here. It's different. I am finally relaxing and catching up with some of your videos. And, I haven't tried many of these concealers, but I have the Elf Camo concealer and feel the same as you do. I just tend to not reach for it. I got the Laura Mercier one that is so popular and it's alright, but not my fav. For a couple years I have been just mixing the Age Perfect Radiant Concealer with a tiny bit of the Covergirl Trublend and that's worked the best for me so far. :)
Great information Tamara! The Lancome is my favorite too, haven't found another one that compares. I haven't used the Garnier in so long but yes with the alcohol it can be drying. I like the NYX but the pump applicator isn't my favorite either. Love the esthetics of the video! 😊
I have used the Booby Brown corrector serum and cream corrector. They are very drying on my eyes (I use in the corner for my dark circles) and does not sit well under my Lancôme concealer. I’m going to try your Pixi corrector! Thanks for the recommendation (I am 61 and have same dry skin as you (plus live in a dry climate)).
I love Pixie, thanks to you! Teint Idole is wonderful too. Happy to hear of other concealers you are pleased with too. I'll keep those in mind as alternatives.
In order to simplify my make up (and for travel purposes) I no longer use foundation. I only use tinted SPF (Elta MD or DRMTLGY), and in my t-zone and under eye area, the NYX serum concealer mixed into my tinted moisturizer. I absolutely love the results, it really looks like my skin but better.
Hi, been watching you for a while. Subscribed and enjoy your videos. Bought the Garnier roller ball on your say so. Loved it! but not for under eyes, I realized immediately that it was not a concealer at least not for me. I use it like a highlighter. Mostly on my chin and forhead and a bit on the cheek bones. I especially love the cooling effect. I have serious malasma and therefor use Dermablend or Lancome as a concealer. Also fantic about sun screen and after many many tubes and bottles I finally settled on Neutrogena dry touch. keep up the good work and love seeing your beautiful garden.
GREAT video! I always struggle to find an affordable concealer that works for my 60-year-old, dry skin! love all your videos, keep doing what you do girl!
I agree with you on the troublesome pump on that NYX concealer. It is a fine product, but I have enough annoyance at wasting product every time I use it that I just don’t reach for it much.
Hi Tamara, thank you for this concealer video. I have a few concealers I'm experimenting with right now. (my eyes are more hollow and my skin tone light). I bought the pixi on your advice and I like it but there are others for me I like more. Elf camo matte finish, and a little goes a long way which I like and covers well. I found the Nars dried up too fast to use (it's such a skinny bottle), Incognito by Wet an Wild in two light shades are great! When you showed Lacome Teint Idole Ultra wear in two shades, I had just bought the same one in Buff (could of used Ivory). But I was happy you liked it as I'm not totally sure right now. It seems to cover very well. Now thanks to you I won't return it. Thanks for taking the time to explain your reasons behind your picks.
Neutrogena Concealer is in my travel makeup bag. Since it is a stick it frees up some space in my liquids bag. I have swapped out several liquid makeups (foundation, perfume, etc) for sticks or balms.
Hi Tamara, I’ve recently discovered your channel and have been enjoying your videos. I wondered if you’ve tried the Maybelline Master Camo corrector in pink?
good review. I threw out a couple only yesterday. Not wearing anything now, too drying, if in the mood will mix a little moisturiser. Only have the Elf left. Hate concealers especially at 77 !!
This was very helpful Tamara. If you like the Pixie over the BB, I’m heading to Target today to get one! I like the NYX concealer in vanilla but it is difficult to pump out a tiny bit. I want to try the Teinte Idol for sure. Thanks.
I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on the Pixi. I like it because it is so opaque and stays put on my dark inner corner...but I apply VERY sparingly to the dark areas under my eyes. It can cake up. I think you will LOVE the Teinte Idol!
Pixie for me too as a corrector! I've pretty much stopped wearing concealer everyday as I just can't get it to work for me. For those "extra make-up worthy" days when I do try to use concealer, I've recently been using iIia true skin serum concealer and it's just meh for me. I am now going to look for the e.l.f. brightening concealer (similar to the YSL touche eclat perhaps?) Nice decluttering Tamara!
Lancome is still my favorite after all these years. I tried many of your more affordable options and agree 100%. Need to try Kosas, tho. Michelle Speiler always uses it in her Utube videos.
Pixie is the best; I began using it, thanks to your videos! My fav concealers at this point are tarte SEA Hydroconcealer (hated Shape Tape!) and Mabelline Instant Age Rewind. I love that they don't settle into my lines, they both have fairly sheer coverage, and I like their shade choices. I just haven't been able to master heavier concealers playing well with my undereye moisturizer. Maybe it's the moisturizer? Have you ever done a video on this particular skin care item, Tamara? Or don't you use a separate moisturizer under your eyes? Thanks, and have a terrific week!
Hi Tamara I think concealer is one product that is very individual tbh and difficult to find a good one with very dry aging skin. My current favourite is the Dior forever concealer in shade 00 - a perfect shade match for me, which can be a big factor in it looking it's best. It self sets so no need for powder on my dry skin and I only need a small amount. I don't have big dark circles fortunately and only have some blue/purple in the inner corner area and a little redness at the outer corner. I only put as small amount as I can get away with in those two places, as any concealer will crease in lines. I really wanted to try the lancome, but could not get a shade match and the Kosas is a very yellow based line, which is not suited to my very cool toned skin. I have tried correctors, but for me the least amount of product possible works better and layering two products can look heavy on me. That being said I don't have too much to cover, so just concealer works fine for me. I do use something different on the face however. I have rosacea and don't like (on myself) full coverage foundations, or even high medium coverage. In order to boost coverage just where I need it, I do use concealer under my foundation (allow to set and then apply the foundation). For this I mostly stick to more affordable products and normally use either the Maybelline age rewind in cool ivory or the Revolution conceal and hydrate in shade 0.5 - both work well for me used this way, but not all that well at the eye area. I'm fine about using two and reserve my expensive Dior one for the eyes, although I can use it all over in a pinch (or when traveling). i'm not sure how the Dior would work for those who need to use more, but my sister also likes it (she bought it when I told her it was the one I was using - she asked me which concealer I was wearing, as she said it looked almost undetectable). Her feedback was it was the best she had tried and she also has very dry/eczema prone skin. She also doesn't have a ton to cover though, so that is always going to be a factor. Best wishes.
As always, your video is so informative. I have combo skin, but the under eye area is dry, so your recommendations are great for me. I’ve just bought the Kosas but haven’t tried yet. Trying to use up a Chanel concealer which is nice, but a bit thick/cakey for me unless I use a damp sponge to blend it out. For correcting I use a peach corrector from NYX. For touch ups I use Maybelline Age Rewind. Light and creamy with nice soft sponge applicator!
Great, comprehensive video - thank you so much for sharing! Needless to say I have quite a few of the ones that you have :) I agree about the Kosas, it is rather yellow - I'm in the shade 06 - but it's ok while for the summer. I absolutely love the Lancome which will soon be in my empties - but I also love the Nars, which I've used for years. I also like the ELF camo but I think mine is probably not the super creamy one - it's the 16 hour version, but my skin is not dry, it's normal, so it works well for me. Also love the ELF brightener, which is what I took on holiday as it's lovely and light and easy to apply. I loved the Tarte ultra creamy shape tape but then found out it had limonene and geraniol, which I'm allergic too - grrr!
If you LOVE the CT, you may not love the Pixi..it is dryer and more opaque...but that is one of the reasons I like it...it really neutralizes and doesn't budge. Not a dupe...just a different formula. But I would be curious to hear your thoughts!
I have the NARS concealer. I also have the mini size; I don't use makeup up very quickly. I learned to use less as at first I was putting so much it looked awful! I have horrible purple all around top eyelids! Hardly anything on bottom; little bit of dark in the corner. I never knew this could happen to me as I aged. LOL no one told me. Thanks Tamara; loved this video.
Our skin around our eye area thins SO much as we are growing older...resulting in more blue purple. The color correctors are great for canceling/neutralizing the dark blue purple. And yes...less is DEF more!
Great video. I got the Neutrogena one based on your recommendation and I do like it but just like you I am not reaching for it as much because of the stick.I have taken some on a concealer brush and did it like that.I had the same problem with the Revlon Candid.I got a darker shade because reviews said light was too yellow and the darker one was too dark! I don't care for the ELF one either, too heavy. I have the NYX one in vanilla, it's a little too dark. I wanted to try the light one.I do the tiniest pump on my hand too,it does blend really well but I want it to match my skin.. not be darker than my foundation..lol I've been wanting to try the Sephora one. Thanks hon!
That is **definitely** my challenge too lol! I’m very excited to watch what’s worked for you 💕💝💕💝. Thank you sweet Tamara. Ps. Loooooove Kosas, only one I own, but I’ll keep that 9 months in mind 😷
did you try the Neutrogena color correcting concealer and the Neutrogena Radiant Cream concealer = I use both and love them. Pixie I found was too drying on my skin…I love the NARS which is my go to for evenings out with hubby. NYX - I can’t find the right shade for me (all too warm and yellow) and not tried Kosas since I want to use up what I have ….love your videos for us over 65 ladies
Thanks so much for this video. It seems on the constant hunt for the right concealer. I am also 62 and have crepey undereyes. I don’t have very dark circles, but just a bit of blue/purple in the inner corners. I’ve been using the neutrogena hydro boost on your recommendation from a previous video and I do like it, but it is a little stiff to blend for me. But I find the lighter ones seem to just smear over the skin and not really conceal. I am definitely going to try some of your keepers!
Thank you so much Tamara for such an informative video! Was surprised to not see the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in ur collection, that + Kosas are my 2 favorites! You look lovely as usual dear, keep them vids coming as I learn alot from you. ❤️
Sorry to hear about the Garnier; it took some effort to find and buy when I saw how much you loved it. I love Pixie peach corrector too! another surprisingly good corrector is LA Girl pro conceal in peach.
I'm super sad about the Garnier! Such a unique and wonderful product! But the denatured alcoholl..dang! It probably wouldn't hurt if you don't use it every single day. Especially if you pre hydrate your under eyes well.
Perfect timing! I’m running low on my Neutrogena healthy skin 3-1 concealer for eyes, and while I do love it, i believe it now only comes in a tube and, like you, I miss the doe foot applicator. Perhaps I’ll try one of the ones you’ve recommended this time around. Thanks for the tips and suggestions!
This was so helpful Tamara. I'm a little late to the party 🥳. This wkend Celebrating 2 grandchildren and twins sons bday all in same wk! Anyway, I'm all in for a concealor video. I've tried and agree with pretty much all your choices & reasoning. I use Nars, Kosas and even a Clinique one for the most part. But I may try that Maybelline one. Sounds similar to Nars. Thanks 😊 for doing this.
Before I purchase Have you ever try Yes Saint Laurent Touché Eclat all over brightening concealer pen, and your thoughts on this product? One big mistake purchase for me Urban Decay eye primer. The consistency was very dry and ended in my creases. Thank you for sharing
Tamara, this is so helpful. I’m very interested in the elf concealer and the Lancôme. I’ve recently purchased the Lancôme yellow corrector for my purple under eye tones, and I love how pigmented it is. I’m going to save this video and revisit in the future! 🥰😘
Hallo 🌻. My favourites for correcting is the Bobbi Brown and nars they just don't make my under eye dry up. The pixie was to thick and my skin hated it 😟. For concealers I bought the new honest beauty one and really love it. I use it right along with my kosas and lys. Thank you loved this
I picked up the Pixie, because of your love for the product. I realized that we are all different and what works for one, will not work for the other. When I see Pixie in the stores, I think of you. Unfortunately, it does not work well on my under eyes, and that is fine. CT is not bad and I will reach for that one every now and again. I do not care for that very 'stiff' feeling. It settles in my lines and it is just not flattering. It is why we watch 'influencers' to give us a breakdown of the products. Especially people that are in our age group and kind of have similar problems to us. I understand now that it is a matter of taking the knowledge from here and using that when we want to purchase something. (I am 61, so I do fall into that older category.)
Because it is a little dryer, more opaque it really works and stays put on my dark inner corner. But I have to be pretty careful not to apply too much to my under eye area or it can settle into lines and wrinkles. I literally apply the smallest amount only to the dark blue areas. And absolutely...what works for one person doesn't always work for another! The beauty of youtube...lots of different perspectives ❤️
I have found that a yellow color corrector works best on my thin, purple under eye circles. If your undereye circles are less blue and more purple, yellow works better than peach.
I have some questions for you. I am 52 and I like a more natural look to my makeup. So if I used the Pixi Corrector and the Elf or Kosas concealer, would that work with a tinted moisturizer? And if so which tinted moisturizer would you recommend? Thank you!
Yes, the Pixi and elf work nicely with a tinted moisturizer. I have so many tinted moisturizers...but lately my favs have been Wet n Wild and Tarte. Here is my tinted mositurizer round up video where I compare and rank 9 tinted moisturizers. Enjoy! ruclips.net/video/qd0pT8yhupg/видео.html
Thanks for this deep dive declutter & review! I may have to rethink repurchasing the Garnier given how high alcohol is on the list. I never realized this. I just can’t make the ELF work. I’m enjoying the Trinny London Just a Touch right now for spot and eye concealer as well as the painterly paint pot. Both give a nice no makeup/ everyday look. But I do need to find one that’s a bit more hydrating for fall/winter. Thanks for all your recommendations! Happy Sunday💜
I'm so sad about the Garnier! It's such a unique and easy product...but the denatured alcahol...dang! I'll have to add Trinny London to my wishlist! Have a great Sunday! ❤️
If I had to choose right now....I would say the Lancome. It's great both for the under eye area as well as for concealing on the face and around the nose. Really natural looking and long lasting!
Great video, I really enjoyed it! Because I am allergic to beeswax, I can't use the pixi corrector, which I really wanted to try. So I tried another one from Glo Skin Beauty, and it works really beautifully for me. I don't wear concealer on top of it because I only wear tinted sunscreen, no foundation, so I think concealer on top of my Glo Skin Corrector/Concealer would be a bit much. It took me a long time to find a concealer/corrector that worked for my almost 60 year old peeps with some hyperpigmentation beneath them. Have a beautiful day!!!
I both own the NARS (mini) and the Maybelline concealer and find them very similar. In fact, I like the Maybelline one better because they offer a greater variety of shades and undertones. NARS is great but is it worth the price point? Not sure about that.
Love your video, I learned so much from you. I watch you every Sunday .I do have a question, how do you get rid of oily skin especially after applying sunscreen and foundation? I use Laura Marcier foundation followed by Translucent Loose Setting Powder. My skin always looks so oily , worse when it’s hot. Combination of sweat and spf makes my face looks nasty. Please help.. what products do you use to make your face looks lovely during these awful hot days. Thanks again for everything you do .
Thank you Rowena! With my dry skin, I don't have the same issues with looking oily. A little powder usually does the trick for me in the summer. You might want to try an SPF that is designed for more combo or oily skin types such as Australian Gold Tinted SPF and MyChelle Sun Shield. They are both a little to drying and matte for my dry skin but people with combo or oily skin love them!
You should try the Tarte Shape Tape ultra creamy concealer. MUCH more hydrating than the regular. I like it even better than the Nars and Lancôme concealers.
I find that I need to layer a couple on top of each other, otherwise they just sink into my skin and coverage is gone. It’s hard to find a good one. Didn’t care for Lancôme’s new version. Seemed drying. I’m 66 with oily skin except for under my eyes. I have very dark circles. Might give the pixie a try and use a hydrating concealer with it like the elf. If I find a good product, I’ll live with the not so great applicator.
Usually I use the corrector very sparingly and only on the dark blue/purple ares then apply a light coat of concealer over most of the under eye area to soften the peach and brighen the under eye while giving it a more uniform look. I am planning a corrector/concealer demonstration video soon...but in the mean time Hope this helps!
@Tamera’s Timeless Beauty I wasn’t sure why you decluttered the Bobbi Brown: too emollient, too light (Bisque shade is closer in shade to the Pixi) or too expensive? I find the Pixi too drying for the undereye but I like how it brightens the inner corner
Hi Susan! I didn't dislike the BB...I just prefer the Pixi and didn't want the BB to go to waste. I mostly use the Pixi in my dark inner corner. Like you said it really brightens but also stays in place. It can be dry for the udner eyes...I always use an eye cream to pre hydrate my under eyes, and use the Pixi very sparingly and only on the actual blue purple area...not over the entire under eye. Hope this helps!
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty I just don’t have luck with concealer or corrector under my eyes. No matter what I do, eyecream, no eyecream, I’d still get creasing. And the dark circles still showed through. One day I put Maybelline Dream BB cream with SPF 30 by itself under my eyes! It didn’t crease and looked as good as the correctors and concealers did! The jury is still out but so far I like the results better with the M BB cream by itself and nothing over it. It does wear off but since I’m in to light coverage and we’re supposed to re-apply sunscreen…for me, it’s a win. A little bit of Pixi in the inner corner and a little of the M BB cream under my eyes goes a long way to lessen the intensity of my dark circles
I apply with a dense brush and press blend with my warmed up fingers. I am planning a corrector/concealer demonstration video soon...but in the mean time Hope this helps!
Hi thank you for sharing I must be honest if I get something that I’m not to keen on my daughter says oh that one will be fine for me I laugh as sometimes it’s not even her colour but that’s daughters for you see you in the next one 🌺🌹🌸🌼
I can’t seem to find anything for my super dry under eyes and I’m only 42 😭 just seems like everything just looks so creased n dry so I’m using sheglam balm foundation under my eyes for now 😆

that you swatched EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! 💜🙏
When gals just declutter saying why THEY didn't like it, it's not helpful.
THANK YOU
I love your new sofa. Very light and bright. ❤
The wet n wild concealer is soooo good. Great moisturizing coverage. Great spreadabilty
Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much!! For more mature skin, it’s so difficult to find a good concealer!! Your video has been so helpful!!!
I’m so glad!
It goes to show that some preservatives play an important role in our products!
I love Pixie! Use it everyday!
The Garnier is such an unique and wonderuf, natural product....I am sad about the denatured alcohol....but probably ok if you pre hydrate well.
So satisfying to see I have some of these ☺️
I need to declutter. Thanks for the reviews.
My biggest dilemma. Got under eye dark circles from my mom. This was very informative and helpful. Have a beautiful day.
Thank you for another great video! Always look forward to Sunday and a new video!
Happy Sunday beautiful Tamara! 😍❤️
Hi Tamara Idk what you’re doing differently, but your skin has been looking younger, fresher, and less pigmented 🌟🌟🌟 Also you have a lovely glow🤩🙏🏼
Hello T. Great video 💕
Thank you for reminding me that I need to declutter my make up too!!!
I love the LYS concealer and foundation, too. They are clean products with added skin-loving ingredients. I am 50 yrs old for reference. I have been gravitating towards clean beauty.
Thanks for sharing!!
Great video! Love, love, love! ❣️
😘😘😘
I like the Mablene concealer.
As soon as I saw the Milani corrector, I ran over to their website to check it out! 😊
Love your channel... I'm going to try both the pixie and lancome!!
Thank you Tamara , great video ! Very informative ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing! Lift and laminate sounds wonderful! ❤️
Thanks, very helpful, I am going to add elf and pixie for dark blue circles( great selection) 🌺🌺
Such a clever idea for a video!
Great information Tamara! The Lancome is my favorite too, haven't found another one that compares. I haven't used the Garnier in so long but yes with the alcohol it can be drying. I like the NYX but the pump applicator isn't my favorite either. Love the esthetics of the video! 😊
Thank you Mel! Have a great week! ❤️
It 's hard to find a good one corrector a huge hug 🤗 Tamara ❤️❤️❤️
Happy Sunday xoxoxo ❤️❤️❤️
This was so helpful. I struggle so much with concealers. I've heard good things about LYS concealer. Would love your thoughts on that one.
Have you tried huda beauty faux filter or too faced sculpting concealer? I'd love a review on these.
I bought the pixie eye concealer. omg love it thank you
Yay! I'm so glad you love it as much as I do! I'm so sorry you received a scammer comment! I just deleted/reported. Darn scammers!
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty thank you! do you find it to be thick it doesn't smooth on .. so I thought maybe I got a dried up one
GREAT video! I always struggle to find an affordable concealer that works for my 60-year-old, dry skin! love all your videos, keep doing what you do girl!
Thank you so much Mimi! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
I see that your channel is growing! Happy for you and thank you for all you do! X
Thank YOU so much Simone! ❤️
Loved it! Thank you so much for the informative video!
Glad it was helpful!
Always love watching you! What is the nail color you’re wearing in this video? I love the muted pink. Thank you!
Thank you so much Susan! I always forget to link my nail color so thanks for the reminder. It is Sally Hansen Color Therapy in Eiffel in Love.
good review. I threw out a couple only yesterday. Not wearing anything now, too drying, if in the
mood will mix a little moisturiser. Only have the Elf left. Hate concealers especially at 77 !!
You just gained a new subscriber based on the videos I've watched so far 👌🏻
Thank you Chelle! A very warm welcome to you...I'm super happy to have you here! ❤️
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty Thank you, I'm very happy to be here 😊
This was very helpful Tamara.
I, too, hated shape tape
I love my Charlotte Tilbury color corrector. I should try the Pixi. Love this video Tamara. 😊
Great video 👍
Thanks hon!
Hey lovely oh looking forward to this I love concealers♥️♥️ hope you’re doing well 🤗
Happy Sunday Michelle! ❤️
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty thanks beautiful ♥️♥️ me and Charlotte love the pixi one , and I’m tempted to try the CT one … xx
Thank you Geykekin! For some reason, I’ve never been able to get Maybelline Instant age rewind to work for me, but I know many love it!
I find it blends seamlessly with a damp sponge rather than a brush but I know our undereyes are finicky! :)
😘😘😘
This was so helpful Tamara. I'm a little late to the party 🥳. This wkend Celebrating 2 grandchildren and twins sons bday all in same wk! Anyway, I'm all in for a concealor video. I've tried and agree with pretty much all your choices & reasoning. I use Nars, Kosas and even a Clinique one for the most part. But I may try that Maybelline one. Sounds similar to Nars. Thanks 😊 for doing this.
Thank you Sharon! Sounds like you had a fun weekend! I've been meaning to try the Clinique one...thanks for sharing! ❤️
Before I purchase Have you ever try Yes Saint Laurent Touché Eclat all over brightening concealer pen, and your thoughts on this product? One big mistake purchase for me Urban Decay eye primer. The consistency was very dry and ended in my creases. Thank you for sharing
Hi Dori! The Touché Eclat has long been on. Y wish list but haven’t actually tried it. Yet. It sounds lovely.
Tamara, this is so helpful. I’m very interested in the elf concealer and the Lancôme. I’ve recently purchased the Lancôme yellow corrector for my purple under eye tones, and I love how pigmented it is. I’m going to save this video and revisit in the future! 🥰😘
Thank you Beth! Now I am intrigued by the Lancome Corrector! Thanks for sharing!
Hallo 🌻. My favourites for correcting is the Bobbi Brown and nars they just don't make my under eye dry up. The pixie was to thick and my skin hated it 😟. For concealers I bought the new honest beauty one and really love it. I use it right along with my kosas and lys. Thank you loved this
Thank you for sharing! I've been hearing good things about the new Honest Beauty so thanks for the reminder!
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty most welcome 😘
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty thank you so much for getting back to me! I just watched the round up. I’m excited to try these products! I’ll let you know!
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty forgot to ask if there is a #1 you’d recommend for me? TIA
If I had to choose right now....I would say the Lancome. It's great both for the under eye area as well as for concealing on the face and around the nose. Really natural looking and long lasting!
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty 🙏💜 “add to cart” 😉
Great video, I really enjoyed it! Because I am allergic to beeswax, I can't use the pixi corrector, which I really wanted to try. So I tried another one from Glo Skin Beauty, and it works really beautifully for me. I don't wear concealer on top of it because I only wear tinted sunscreen, no foundation, so I think concealer on top of my Glo Skin Corrector/Concealer would be a bit much. It took me a long time to find a concealer/corrector that worked for my almost 60 year old peeps with some hyperpigmentation beneath them. Have a beautiful day!!!
Thank you for sharing! Adding Glow Skin to my must try list for sure. Happy Sunday! ❤️
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty Happy Sunday 😊 ❤
I both own the NARS (mini) and the Maybelline concealer and find them very similar. In fact, I like the Maybelline one better because they offer a greater variety of shades and undertones. NARS is great but is it worth the price point? Not sure about that.
Hi Tamara , I was just curious if you’ve ever tried perbelle cc cream And if so what were your thoughts
Hi Christine! I have not tried Perbelle...but now it's on my wish list! ❤️
BTW, the for all your wk, very helpful and your voice is so soothing! Are U a teacher?
Thank you Nancy! No not a teacher per se....but as a Nurse did quite a bit of patient education as well as training and teaching other nurses.
You should try the Tarte Shape Tape ultra creamy concealer. MUCH more hydrating than the regular. I like it even better than the Nars and Lancôme concealers.
Thanks for sharing!!
I can’t live without the Garnier
So do you both the corrector and the concealer at the same time?
Usually I use the corrector very sparingly and only on the dark blue/purple ares then apply a light coat of concealer over most of the under eye area to soften the peach and brighen the under eye while giving it a more uniform look. I am planning a corrector/concealer demonstration video soon...but in the mean time Hope this helps!
Thank you, it does.
Just an FYI, Clinic has a new very thin peach correct or
If a person accidentally bought the wrong color corrector, could it be used on the eyelids to make a good base for eye shadow application? Thank you!
Yes! Give it a try!
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty Thank you!!!
@Tamera’s Timeless Beauty
I wasn’t sure why you decluttered the Bobbi Brown: too emollient, too light (Bisque shade is closer in shade to the Pixi) or too expensive?
I find the Pixi too drying for the undereye but I like how it brightens the inner corner
Hi Susan! I didn't dislike the BB...I just prefer the Pixi and didn't want the BB to go to waste. I mostly use the Pixi in my dark inner corner. Like you said it really brightens but also stays in place. It can be dry for the udner eyes...I always use an eye cream to pre hydrate my under eyes, and use the Pixi very sparingly and only on the actual blue purple area...not over the entire under eye. Hope this helps!
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty
I just don’t have luck with concealer or corrector under my eyes.
I bought the pixie peach corrector but just can’t get it to work for me! How do you apply it? It seems too thick and dry for me and doesn’t blend
Too dry for me too
I mostly use the Pixi in my dark inner corner. Like you said it really brightens but also stays in place. It can be dry for the udner eyes...I always use an eye cream to pre hydrate my under eyes, and use the Pixi very sparingly and only on the actual blue purple area...not over the entire under eye. I apply with a dense brush and press blend with my warmed up fingers. I am planning a corrector/concealer demonstration video soon...but in the mean time Hope this helps!
Hi thank you for sharing
I must be honest if I get something that I’m not to keen on my daughter says oh that one will be fine for me I laugh as sometimes it’s not even her colour but that’s daughters for you see you in the next one 🌺🌹🌸🌼
I can’t seem to find anything for my super dry under eyes and I’m only 42 😭 just seems like everything just looks so creased n dry so I’m using sheglam balm foundation under my eyes for now 😆
