My family is planning on making the BIGGEST move of our lives moving our family from Toronto to Calgary or surrounding area. I’m a licensed Ford Tech and my wife is a teacher, when we sell our house we should have enough money after paying off our mortgage to purchase a house in the 600k to 700k range….we’re flying to Calgary to explore and confirm it’s the right move to make…your videos have been crazy helpful…obviously when we do move within the next year…not sure when we’ll be ready…do y’all have an office we will need an agent to help us find a house
So exciting. We absolutely can help you and we should start the conversation asap to help build a strategy and prepare. Feel free to connect with us at www.chamberlaingroup.ca/contact/ and we’ll get you all setup! Thank you for watching and commenting 🙏🏼

Welcome to the world of builders in a hot market… unfortunately. There could be numerous things that you could see increases on that you weren’t expecting.
@@flipacoin3593 I don't agree with it being neutral for both parties. Say hypoethically speaking , materials cost drop significantly and market value if the home drops , will the builder give me some money back, no I don't think so. These contracts are written to favour the builder..in my opinion.
@@ChamberlainGroup I want to buy in Calgary but am hesitant. I just spoke with truman homes rep and she said she has never seen truman builder closing cost go up after a contract has been signed, no matter how high costs go up, "a contract is a contract " ..I don't know if this is just fluff talk to sell me on a house..or not ...

People always use short cuts to get rich, and 98% of the short cuts are unrealistic. choose the right way to get rich and it takes some time and it is legit. a fellow creator.....
I cannot buy a property in Calgary where all properties will drop in price, will not go up or go up at a relatively slow rate. Houses are dirt cheap because they are a poor investment. Dirt cheap price historically means what?
@@ChamberlainGroup Calgary is also seen as attractive because no Provincial Sales Tax, no Property purchase tax and Alberta does not have a probate tax. Which is great? But where is the government going to get money to do its thing? I am told Calgarian/Alberta government workers are paid better than the same position in other Provinces. Well by having increasing high direct and indirect taxes. Something has got to give unless there are cutbacks.

Do you have a recommendation for a real estate lawyer? I want to close in 10 days if possible. Thanks again for amazing content.
We have a few, but 10 days is super fast. Have you already bought?
@@ChamberlainGroup I have put an offer with no financing required. Waiting to see the response.
Does truman homes have a history of increasing closing costs on pre cons ?

Go Calgary!

Is it an average household income in Canada or something😳? The example only shows from $140,000⁉️
I think that is two people worth of income combined
I'm from Calgary, family of 4 and household income about $80k. We get by.
Yes that was their household income.
