You place a deep socket on the bolt and a long allen wrench through the socket and hold the socket with vise grips and some sort of rubber cover to allow grip and turn the socket while you hold the allen wrench.... walllahhh
Work backwards. Turn nut with off set box wrench or socket with vice grip and put the 6mm hex bit on the torque wrench. measure torque against shaft not nut.

snap on makes a socket wrench that has a center path for another tool inside the hex socket. it is a ratchet as well

Large bottom jiblet on mine is rounding might heat up metal around it... or as for your instructions remove the link first then lower strut bolt.
Open end socket wrench or some kind of a linemans wrench would work.
