I just started creating my own stickers based on my tie dye designs and I can’t tell you how helpful this video was!!! I was completely lost on how to ship them since it’s so different from shipping packages. Thank you so much man!
Dude thank you so much for making this video! I hate sending my stickers with stamps because I get messages that they never received them. You just saved me from buying a whole roll of stamps!
that you can break out your Cricut out of cold storage and it cut those stickers perfectly with no calibrating just blows my mind 😂 I have so many busted sets where the cut was off I'm thinking of throwing them in as freebies.
Hey! I started my sticker Etsy business in the beginning of this year and I remember this video really helped me out (thanks!). I want to start shipping internationally and I’d appreciate it if someone helped me out on this or if you create a video about this :). Tysm!
Hi, I hope you still see my message. Thank you for making this video. I like to open up an Etsy shop soon. I use small shipping boxes. So I also like to use small shipping labels. I saw that your label on the envelope is not to big as well. I prefer the shipping label to be no wider than 8 cm. in width. Do you know if that is possible?
question: what do you do to prevent them getting bent? I use rigid mailers but I'd love to use the cheaper shipping option!! I just dont want them to end up arriving bent
hey do you mind me asking what shipping selection you are choosing to get a .60 cent shipping cost? When I put in envelope and the weight and 4x6 package size it comes out to $5-$6
Does exist any website same like INPRNT that you just add your designs and they take care of everything with shipping and send them to customers? To sell sticker SHEETS.
This strategy is amazing and I want to use it as well. But for my packaging I actually add a wax seal stamp on it for extra presentation. When I ship it I usually have to get 2 stamps because they label is as irregular mailing. Would my way of packaging be able to use this method? Id be saving way more money than 2 stamps but not 100% sure if my letter would quality for this shipping label. I might just decide to do it anyways for the added insurance of tracking, but just wanted to ask anyways if you had any insight on that type of thing. Thanks for this video it was so helpful
Looks like your stickers are glossy! How do you get your cricut sensor to read the lines? I'm only able to use matte paper for my stickers. Great video btw! Thanks for posting 😊
You could apply a cold laminate to the inside of the square so it can still ready thenregistration marks. You just trim down the self adhesive laminating sheets. Then they'd be legit waterproof.
1: how can yiu even use gloss on the cricut? Mine fails every time. 2: do you clearcoat your stickers? I noticed all my paper is highly susceptible to water/dew/humidity
I swear by that sticker paper when I use them for my personalized magnetic puzzles. I find trouble using it for stickers especially because I use holographic lamination.
I have thought about adding stickers to my Etsy shop, but it seems like the profit would be so low, it wouldn't be worth the time. I would think the ink alone would be pretty costly.
Do you ever have issues with it staying in pre-transit? I feel like mine aren't updating and its worrying me that they arent recieving my stickers -- and if they are, its irritating because Etsy withholds funds as well
how much should i seek per sticker? and what is the sizes to sell? since each sticker have different shapes you measure the length for every different sticker like 3 inches wide and height just varies. thanks
Please help 1st thank you for the video. I’m having trouble getting it to print correct on the envelope at first I was putting it in wrong and hoping by changing the print “orientation” setting would work -.- anyways every time I print only half comes out or it prints it on the flap part.
We have like the same exact set up! I have issues with Etsy shipping updates marking things as delivered before they actually get delivered, and I probably get 1-2 people per week messaging me to say their order never showed up at all. I can't file a complaint with USPS because the tracking numbers are ALWAYS invalid with the Etsy labels. Do you have this issue too? Any suggestions?
Ive got the same printer and it seems like the colors arent true to the digital file is there a setting that can make the colors more vibrant on the sticker paper?
You should be able to change the paper size to a specific envelope seize. Then rotate the envelope to feed in lengthwise. And choose to rotate the print to match. This will prevent the little envelope flap from potentially jamming in the machine. You'll also have to know if your printer loads from top or from the bottom as this will affect you you set the envelopes in. Topload face up. Bottom load face down for inkjet printers. Be sure to adjust the paper sizer things inside the paper tray/holder, so it site securely in there and doesn't grab and potentially skew the envelope when it pulls it in to print.
Great video! But I do have a pressing question: is the tracking through Etsy, or through USPS, themselves? Etsy is currently holding funds from me because I was not including tracking on my sticker packages (because all the options I could find through USPS seem so darn expensive) -- so obviously, I need to add tracking in the future. However, I am seeing a LOT of people online say that the Etsy tracking is basically fake tracking, because USPS does not scan their barcodes. Ultimately, I want to include genuine, useful tracking, yet I don't want to pay nearly $5 to mail a $4 sticker!
Hey! I ship my stickers with tracking for .64 cents. I’ve noticed the tracking is sorta off and sometimes it marks it as delivered (even when it’s not but it arrives like a day later or so) and for others it gets delivered but doesn’t mark it as delivered. Either way I use tracking just to be safe that I did send it (because when I put it into the mailbox, it does get marked as shipped eventually!). Sorry for the rant! But yes Etsy tracks it and I tried to use the order number to track it through USPS and it doesn’t appear.
@@jackiee_hey do you mind me asking what shipping selection you are choosing to get a .60 cent shipping cost? When I put in envelope and the weight and 4x6 package size it comes out to $5-$6
@@carlysvinyl Hi!!! So I use 5x7 flat letter envelopes within 1 ounce in USPS First Class Mail. So it’s 7 Length, 5 Width, 0.25 Height. Make sure the option is under “I’ll enter fixed prices manually” and not “Calculate them for me”. Also, shipping used to be .64 cents but now they’re .69 cents. I hope this helps!
It doesn’t have to be, but if I want to use a standard envelope with a stamp, it has to be under an ounce. Anything larger needs a bigger envelope with a label. 😄
Most big platforms like eBay and Etsy have a envelope option Etsy is .60 for under a ounce and I believe eBay is around the same for trading cards under 2 ounces
@@KalebGonyea Thank you! I've been selling on Etsy since 2005 and always thought I had to put 1 inch in there instead of the .25. I noticed Ebay and Pay Pal/Shipstation wouldn't let me put the .25 in there. Thanks!
Bloody hell, $0.06 for a shipping label? Now I understand why Etsy is encouraging sellers to offer free shipping (it is nothing compared to the sale price and materials/labour cost). Try UK's Royal Mail prices... Nowhere near that.

Smart printing right on the envelope! So simple but never would have thought about that.

Mind sharing how you created the cut lines?😊
What size are the envelopes, in inches?
Is it better to use the blue colored mat or green mat for making simple stickers ?
Thanks for the video. I was wondering, Do you print those notes yourself or are you outsourcing them? I like the glossy look and quality.
Great question, I print them myself on epson photo glossy paper!
