This show is addicting.
This happens on a lot of occassions, but the theme music was originally used for DOUBLE DARE. Additionally Alex Trebek would appear in a tournament with other game show MCs; including Gene Rayburn and Bill Cullen.
Rest in ☮️ Jim Perry.
very nice
I see this is very early in the show's history. One change Jim made later on, I noticed, is that he flipped the cards more quickly. It looks a bit nonchalant at this point. But I always liked Jim. He ranked #2 to Bill Cullen for me.
It made the game more suspenful and moved it more quickly.
Does anyone know who the person is on the left (white outfit behind the card stand podium) at the :13 mark?
Original air date: May 9th, 1978.
Buzzr TV is WAY MUCH BETTER than GSN. No more promos during the closing credits!
TonyKanameKuran I AGREE!!!!!!!
***** Who the hell cares?
And youtube is way better than BuzzTV, on youtube you can watch so many different episodes of game shows whenever you want!!
This isn't episode 12. At the end of episode 11 (which is here on RUclips), Jeff was playing the lovely redhead Elaine. I was hoping to see the end of their match, which Jeff won. Wonder where that episode went to? Maybe a bad tape?
It was online somewhere but I think it might have disappeared.
Bunny's shirt looks like she's a den mother for either Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts.
WFLA channel 8, the NBC station in the Tampa Bay area, never aired the original Card Sharks until reruns first appeared on channel 8 in the fall of 1982.
5:48 Sorry Jeff, another 4!
Easter Bunny?! Doesn't the Easter Bunny know, that Easter is already over?
classic theme, they changed it when Bob Eubanks took over.
it's weird how the tape is faded like this. Apparently GSN never played this episode because of that reason.
3:41 its another 3
6:02 Sorry, not higher!
Bunny is quite cute.
This show definitely needs the energy of someone like Jim Perry. Later Card Sharks episodes with Bob Eubanks are just about unwatchable.
I love this show but am I the only one who questions the validity of the polls? How do they gather so much varied information? 100 Playboy models?
I’ve always said the same thing. I think the writers just made up the polls and answers. One of the polls took place in Italy!!
Poor Jeff. Four the love of god
I always think the ace was the best card on this show so I wonder what card you think was the worst card on Card Sharks?
9
In about a few days, my cable system will be hitting the BUZZR
A big loss @ 17:37 &,anyways, WTG,Bunny! Luv u!
I've been trying to find an episode ok f card Sharks where 10 ex convicts were on, please help, It was called on ry he road to rehabilitation in 1988
Angie n Logan I remember watching that as a kid. Made me laugh
Bunny looked HOTTER than a pistol!!! BUT, its too bad that BUZZR-TV cant pump out more game shows later than 1978! They keep showing repeats!! Need to STOP that!!
Ha Ha Ha. I Agree With The Hotter Than A Pistol Part.
