  • In this video, I am going to show you how to change winter tires like a Pro on #Tesla Model 3 with Replika R241 and #ContinentalTire 215/50R18. There are a lot of tire changing videos out there, but many of them do not give you a full picture or not giving you enough technical information. I hope this video covers everything you need for your Tesla Model 3.
    Topics to cover:
    1. Tires: 235/45R18 vs 215/50R18 No TPMS sensors
    2. Rim: 18x8.5, 5x114.3, 64.1mm (21mm socket)
    3. Low profile jack to take rims off? Floor jack doesn't fit!!
    4. Hockey puck or adapter?
    5. Anti-Seize compound on hub
    6. Install new tires 129 ft-lbs, 42 psi
    7. Regen braking = lose traction on ice, how to fix that?
You will love what I am going to show you because it's totally #DIYable. My goal is to inspire more people into DIY, You may also want to check out other videos on my channel, I am pretty sure you will love them. Remember to subscribe.

Hi! I did buy the exact same mags for my tesla model 3 (R241 64,1 CB) and it does not fit on my model 3 STD range. Do you think the lube could make the difference? I checked on the car and it is also 64,1... I am very confused, and stuck with my winter tire lol can you give me some advice?

Really? AWD and STD should have the same according spec (64.1mm).. Where did you buy your R241? If that's from the tire shop, go back and check with them. When you say doesn't fit, how big is the difference? You need to get some tools to measure the center bore to make sure your R241 is really R241 with 64.1mm.

My wife always stop me to invest tire change tool becuase she think the shop provide balancing service. What do you think about this?

Your wife is partially correct, yes, the shop provides balancing service, but you only need once for the tires and rims UNLESS you don't have a set of winter rims and you need to dismount the rubber from the summer rim and put winter rubber on it every single year, then in that case, you need the balancing service. Otherwise, you don't.
