Hi Guys, I bought a Canon 90D recently. I wanted to know whether it can shoot 4K10bit 4:2:2 using Atomos Ninja V external recording. I am an aspiring independent filmmaker. Appreciate if you could help me with this here. 🙏
Does anyone know what lens she may have used when using the camera to film her daughter with the ducks, it cant be the standard lens that comes with it surely?
Let's summarize the comparison: * 90D is lighter than my 80D (we don't know how much) * 90D grip feels different than my 80D (again, we don't know how much) *90D also has 45 AF points, same as my 80D * 90D has a thumb joystick in place of the quick menu button on my 80D. 🤔 Is that worth the hassle of trading "up"? #tough #decisions
A joystick and a different grip, and just a few more pixels. Mmmm not really that impressive, sorry Canon. Perfectly happy to stick with my 80D, it’s a dam fine camera at a good price.
I am glad that canon didn't take away the shutter button instead of 24fps. I am waiting for the day when canon will go like we announced this amazing camera but for some unknown reason there will be no shutter button.
Well, I am always impressed by Canon products...the only main upgrade in my view on the 90d versus my 80d is the video function which is now 4k, but I am still satisfied with the video performance of my 80d so I will skip the upgrade. I will spend my hard cash on a lens instead for my 80D :)
80D is so perfect it's very addicting to use. The focusing is just fun, screen or viewfinder. this will be hard to top by canon. i dont need 4k video, i dont have unlimited supply of hard drives. and aps-c after 2015 is not that significantly under full frame anymore. pair these with a 24 or 28mm pancake lense and it's also the perfect street camera. not into electronic viewfinder or rangefinder of mirrorless yet.
Sorry, but 'cinematic' is 24p, which the 90D is not capable to shoot at for unknown reason... - further more: still no c-log, no more higher bitrate all-i codec, which even the 80D suported... - btw: beautiful footage - i assume this was shot on a 90D ;) ?
Why all the fuss about the lack of 4K @ 24fps? It can do 30fps. Isn't that better? Frankly I'd be more impressed if it did 4k @ 60fps. Then we'd really have something!
Let's not forget that it doesn't shoot 24P. It's like Canon saying; F.U. moviemakers. And it doesn't have built in image stabilization. It's like Filmmakers saying; Welcome to 2014 Canon! This camera is a lunch bag let down.
Both are great cameras. For landscape, portrait, night I would go with the 6DII. For wildlife and sports I would go with the 90D. I’m going to add a 90D body specifically for my 100-400 f4.5/5.6L. I want the extra reach for wildlife.
Canon decided to follow an amateur market. It is clear for us to see. Canon can´t improve its cameras. Sony is going up each year and its cameras has the best af system out there! Sony, Nikon and Fuji presenting us very good Dynamic Range and Color Deph as well. Canon keeps worse on it. Canon has a poor ISO sensitivity. Sony otherwise is very good! Canon offered us a fake 4k in 90d. It seems HD bigger. At all, no rich details or texture in videos. Blacks and whites keeps super saturated. Canon can not improve its DR. No 4k 24p. No real Ibis. No audio in 4k. Af fails yet! (Lots of years passing and Canon couldn´t fix the AF problem ever!!!) In Dpreview has some out of focus photos in low light! I was a Canon user since 2009. I also use two 7D mii for my small bird photography. My main full frame workhorse bodies 1DX MII, 5D miv,5D Sr, 5D Mii.
The most beautiful review i have ever watched
i'll love to get this camera one day 🥺
What Camera were they using to record her using the canon 90d in the field with her daughter?
DatBoyNell1 - That’s her 80D.
A C500
This is the international version of the Rebel T7i. This means that the warranty is not good in the USA. JustU.faith/Canon800D?B I bought the extended warranty with it and it was still cheaper then the US version. Look on youtube for reviews. This was a highly rated camera. This was an upgrade from my old EOS Rebel T5. The extra features are great.
In short, if you already have an 80D, the 90D doesn't offer much more, upgrades are there but are incremental. However if you are buying a camera and don't already have an 80D, get the 90D. If you have an 80D, the 90D doesn't offer much more and is probably not worth a new purchase. Also, Canon is going to the new RF lens format so consider if you want to continue to invest in any more EF based cameras and lenses.
Does it should Log?
This wasn't even a comparison at all but the grip...
I'm not even sure if I should get the 90D or the 80D.
24fps...........
90D has 25p,. if you really want 24p,. just removed 1frame on 25p no one will see the difference,. 24p is overrated,.
@@kenjiyamamoto423 Yea, but to do that every for every second of frames is really tedious. But I think not many people can tell the difference though.

Hi Guys,
I bought a Canon 90D recently.
Hey Louis, Gemma is using the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM.
Let's summarize the comparison:
* 90D is lighter than my 80D (we don't know how much)
* 90D grip feels different than my 80D (again, we don't know how much)
*90D also has 45 AF points, same as my 80D
* 90D has a thumb joystick in place of the quick menu button on my 80D. 🤔 Is that worth the hassle of trading "up"? #tough #decisions
A joystick and a different grip, and just a few more pixels. Mmmm not really that impressive, sorry Canon. Perfectly happy to stick with my 80D, it’s a dam fine camera at a good price.
What is dinamism?
Looks like this will be my 1st upgrade. Currently have a Rebel T6. Looking forward to it!!
braddahjerry go full frame & get a 6d mark II. Way cheaper too.
braddahjerry same, I have a t6i was about to get the 80D and they announced they released the 90D so yup I pre-ordered that. I’m excited !!!.
@@Sweetsbabii09718 awesome!
Click bait with the "Vs"..
4:24 “even more cinematic” and the shutter is 1/400🤯🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Madalin Pana that moment when u want that bokeh outside but forget ND filters exist
I am glad that canon didn't take away the shutter button instead of 24fps. I am waiting for the day when canon will go like we announced this amazing camera but for some unknown reason there will be no shutter button.
Focus bracketing is new in the 90D (and EOS RP), a useful feature for macro photographers.
Dont Upgrade From Canon 200D To 200Markii
Don't Upgrade From 80D to 90D
When will come canon 7d markiii?
They probably ditched the 7D line up
So i guess never
Canon has moved to mirrolesss world..🙄🙄🙄
How can Canon do their own Review?
1. More cinematic without 24p?
2. Are you saying the Joystick is not on any other double-digit series model?
Upgrade! It's awesome it's got 32 mpgs, and 4k that's very good. I seen them online for 1000$ good deal.
Where?
Thank you for this neat overview and it persuaded me into buying th 90D. I always wanted a Canon camera. It will be the first high end camera.
The joystick isn't new it's on my 40D.
24fps is the natural cinematic look. You won't be able to make good looking films with this camera like you could on the 80d.
I can’t wait. I already ordered my 90D today! Upgrading from a 77D
What is the price
What is your experience with 90d so far
80d beats 90d in color reproduction in pictures, 80d has best natural colors whereas digic 8 colors looks artificial or distorted
Independent or paid review?
its a review by canon mate😑
Let's not forget that it doesn't shoot 24P. It's like Canon saying; F.U. moviemakers.
And it doesn't have built in image stabilization. It's like Filmmakers saying; Welcome to 2014 Canon!
This camera is a lunch bag let down.
Comparing new crippled camera with older crippled camera
Eos 90d or 6d mark ii?
Both are great cameras. For landscape, portrait, night I would go with the 6DII. For wildlife and sports I would go with the 90D. I’m going to add a 90D body specifically for my 100-400 f4.5/5.6L. I want the extra reach for wildlife.
@@jimtipton8888 uff I make Astrophotography. Without of doubt I will need an EOS 6D mk II
Luna Studio TUTS I would agree with that.
When The Peanut talks, I listen.
That Peanut voice is as smooth as Butter
I think this probably more than any will force people to other brands, and I currently have the 80D.
The ultimate question I'm asking myself is.... why the f*ck are you using the kit lenses?
No front
Are where do you compering 80d vs 90d?
80d still better
No All-I in the 90d compared to 80d, no 24p.....they want us to go on their high end models
That Peanut voice is as smooth as Butter............
I’m using the M50 for RUclips videos I’m upgrading soon to the 90D
Duh... so what's the advantages over 80D besides 11 fps?
For how long does it shoot continuous 2160p? 1080p?

But for now, i am going to Sony... selling all my Canon gear! By Canon!!!!
Ah... Sure Canon has been recording their propaganda videos with Sony! lol
Canon decidiu seguir o mercado amador!
I agree with most of what you wrote but fear Sony's continuous climb may have taken a break this year. The 6600 was underwhelming as well. Looks like this wasn't the year for anyone to jump ahead.
the thing is,. if you really want their best camera you need to spend much more,. like 1dx mark ii,. mostly their target market are entry levels,. but midrange pro,. they doesn't offer much,. in pro lvl,. only 1dx mark ii is relevant,. which is not good. i wanted to upgrade from crop to full frame,. but i can't find one,. 6D mark ii, RP and EOS R, is not good enough for its price,. but 1dx mark ii is a beast,. but you need to sell your kidney to purchase something like that,.
@@kenjiyamamoto423 1080p @ 120 fps with auto focus and sound isn't that big of an ask. No sound and auto focus is very limiting on a new feature. Combine that with fake non-cropped 4K, no 24fps and anyone that was thinking of using this for both stills and video might seriously start considering just going the mirrorless route with Sony instead.
Canon's sales fell off a cliff and Sony is eating up their market. Many loyal to Canon as brand were hoping they would step things up and really deliver a dslr camera that would be undoubtedly the best semi-pro photo and video camera like many considered the 80D before it. They failed in that regard by fumbling on a few very key video items and have left the door open for Sony.
@@DadeMurphie all camera companies sales decline, even sony,. Stopped being sony jerk,. Canon still no.1 leading in the market,. As long as sony is not no.1 then you can't claim canon sinking,. How many pros vs amateur? How many consumers buy high end products? Your really a dumb in business industry,. If there's 100 person, in a room,. How many pro will buy high end product? Probably 3 out of 100,. How many semi pro will buy? Probably 10 out of 100,. How many will buy entry-level cameras, just to shoot photos as a hobby or just to make vlogs? It will be morethan 50% of the 100 person,
@@DadeMurphie how much manufacturing cost of a7iii? How much manufacturing cost of 200D?,. How many can purchase a7iii how many can purchased 200d? Lol,. 😂😂😂 lol,. Probably sony get some market shares,. Sony giving all the specs what you needed as a bargain just to get some percentage of marketing share,. Thats why canon still has the highest revenues compared to other camera companies,.
Can you please give me your old not in use dslr .. bcos you hava soo many dslr and want to be a photographer but my family doesn't thay are not buying me even entry level camara 😔 plz halp meee
Just got mine !!!
What is your experience with 90d so far
This is a constant front video against Sony. “The Viewfinder is sharper and goes direct through the lens... so you don’t have delays or blur like in a digital viewfinder ;)”
“The Display rotates easily so i don’t have to break my back” Ohhhhhhhhh
Canon constantly sidestepping, not made a new camera since 2016, what is the point of this camera honestly
I just can’t watch a review from the owners lol
I'm thinking a neat upgrade for my 60D , but i will keep the old girl till it has completely carked it :)
90D will suite me for my Macro and wildlife :) can use all my existing lenses and battery also ,
Does it creek in the hand and smell of cheap plastic? My 80D does.
My 80D doesnt smell
Let's me know the price of 90D?
1299€
@@bottex1911 thank you
$1,199.00 USD for body alone.
Unimpressed, this looks more like a 80d mark II. And other than the 4k instead op 1080p, nothing new is shown. I'll just stick with my 80d still and see what the next R line-up will have.
I think the only notable upgrades are 4K video and the FHD 120FPS. I guess the 10 shots a sec is too. But that’s about it 🤷🏽♂️. I love my 80d. We shall see if I upgrade 😬. And give the lady in the video a break y’all 😂 lol, I do agree with some of the comments tho 🙊
Why Canon is not allowing to mount M6 mark II external EVF on D90...this way D90 will became all in one hybrid camera.
Had 2 sent the first back as I thought It was faulty not so,The camera's IQ Isn't a patch on the 80D.....400 ISO upwards and the image starts to degrade...Why ?....Because they have packed too many pixels into a crop sensor...Reverted to 80D..
