I just love your videos. The knowledge, the personal touch, and the humour! But now I want a Leonardo Supernova and that's not gonna happen unless I win the lottery. What a stunning pen!
I bought this pen about a year ago. I paid 450 euros, aprox, rose gold nib. Absolutely the best pen in my collection. Better that a Montblanc by far. I'll give you a recommendation concerning the ink, Diamine Taj Mahal. Is a dark blue with an inn credible dark shade. The bad thing is that they only carry this color in small bottles.
It’s a beauty!!! I should have taken a closer look at it when I visited Emy at the Dutch Pen Show, but was too absorbed with Visconti LOL. I really like how you and Emy are such good pen friends!
So good to see you again! I've been eyeing these pens for a while now. From all the higher-end pens that you've had the pleasure to use, where does this one go in terms of that buttery softness when writing? As always, great review!
Wow!! That ef nib writes so smoothly! That's amazing. My EF Elastic is slightly more feedbacky than I hoped for a Leonardo's jowo nib, but I don't mind it, I really like it! But wow the smoothness of your EF haha It's amazing. It'd be great for folks who dislike feedback and want an EF. Perhaps the Sailor Kikyou also helps with that since it's a nice lubricated and saturated ink. Thanks for sharing, Kerry! I should do my review of it soon, too. I've used mine for almost 2 months now and it is just the most sublime pen :D
Jonathon Brooks' Bohemian Twilight resin is one of my very favorites, and I can't believe these haven't sold out yet (there are 199 per trim option). When this pen came out, I had to have it, even though I already owned 2 other pens in the resin, and a Caramel Supernova (since sold to make way). I am also partial to rhodium trim, but opted for rose gold on this one, as it goes beautifully with the swirls of gold in the pen. A top 3 pen for me, due to its beauty and writing experience.
Good looking pen! Looks like a number of design cues were taken from the vintage Wahl-Eversharp Decoband from around the 1930s. Find one online and say that I'm wrong. 😁 While the vintage Decoband is running about 2x of this, with it being a lovely writer, another similarity at half price. 😉 Both are definitely out of my price range, but I really appreciate getting to see it! Thanks!
I really like the size and shape of the pen, and the acrylic looks amazing… except for the orange bits. I would have purchased one if it weren’t for the orange.
I have noticed fountain pen geeks tend to have poor, childish, penmanship skills. What could possibly foster attraction to collecting and gloating over tools that cannot be employed with any reasonable level of skill. What possible reason could there be for such behaviour?

I can’t afford fourteen karats, but I can afford fourteen carrots.
At least that's something! ☺️🩷👍
So happy to see you back and making videos, I'm listening and watching while swatching new inks

I just ordered this pen from Emy before I saw your video. Now I want it like yesterday. Can’t wait to get it.
What an amazing looking pen!!!
check out the Leonardo Cosmic Dust Supernova with a steel nib exclusive at Pen Chalet - gorgeous pen!

When you do, can you do a cursive writing sample? I’d like to see how the elastic nib reacts.

For the steel elastic nib, it writes without flexing. It is soft enough to flex without much pressure.

Do you (or anyone else) know if the elastic fine nibs can be used normally as a fine nib when you don’t use the flex function?
Yes ❤ it can function like a normal fine nib if no pressure is applied
how fun, thanks for posting
Ooh this one is gorgeous! I usually get ebonite feeds for my regular Leonardos, highly recommended! (From the flexible nib factory)
I'm always worried about the difficulty cleaning a piston. Can you easily unscrew the entire nib unit like you can on a Pelikan?
Wow! It is a great looking pen, the designers found the mark on this model.
It's a beautiful pen!

It is very nice- and, to be honest, the second Leonardo ever i have desired.
Leonardo just released a momento zero with this resin exclusive to pen chalet. It's got me twitterpated. (It's also more affordable)
Dang! 😱😱😱I wanted to buy it, but Emy told me someone beat me to it. 😭😭😭
Why don’t you just buy it? You got a new job/career. Treat yourself.
