Good bro. If you can code you can bag big packages, people got above 25lpa too, it depends on you and your coding skills + cgpa for some companies, companies will come,but you should be prepared by then.
Faculty is same everywhere bro, they just teach the syllabus and go, placement training will be given(like aptitude), coding will be your responsibility. And overall cs,ece,eee are good here bro
If you get CSE, ECE, EEE you can choose NIT Ap bro, mechanical I won't recommended, because placements are good for CSE, EEE, ECE. Instead of choosing mechanical here you can choose CSE in top eamcet colleges , because companies visiting our campus with more than 9 or 10 lakhs package are choosing these 3 branches only. They will be open for only these 3 branches. Even if you get some companies for mechanical above 10, it is hard to crack them because you have to be good in coding, you can get package upto 8 or 9 in mechanical. This package is achievable with CSE in top eamcet colleges, this is my observation only, campus life in NITs and IITs will be much different and better,you will get a lot of time for other activities and for your personal growth,definitely joining in NIT will give you edge over others, so choose accordingly bro
