This video is more of a short highlight compared to those in the past which I usually try to put as much races up as I could, but for this evening most of the races are pretty ugly, so I decided to just upload races that are less messy (?). Another reason is that I didn't have much time to spend on making videos recently.
Anyway, here they are, enjoy some rock music!
♪Race 1 BGM: 平茸 feat. Mineko - FAR AWAY HIGH WAY 「はちみつれもん × Aftergrow」
Somehow managed to held off a STD machine for the win, you don't see a Jujak winning at this track anymore these days (¯∇¯٥)
♪Race 2 BGM: GCHM feat. みぃ - 祭炎 「GET IN THE RING」
That push I gave to Fatalita in the end kinda cost me the win, but I had nowhere else to avoid him ^.^;
♪Race 3 BGM: GCHM feat. みぃ - Purify「GET IN THE RING」
I'm glad that I didn't mess up the silent drift in the last corner, usually it would be the other way around LOL
♪Race 4 BGM: 709sec. feat. Senya - HAZARD☢AREA 「SOUND HOLIC」
Got a poor lap 1 right from the start, tried my best to salvage as many places as I could ^.^;
IIRC I think the last time I raced here with a Raggio was 3 years ago...
♪Race 5 BGM: 平茸 feat. Mineko - Shuffle Shifting 「はちみつれもん × Aftergrow」
Had I noticed earlier that otoyaho was using Downforce plug-in, I wouldn't have gave him the push in the last lap before the jump XD
♪Race 6 BGM: ACTRock feat. あやぽんず＊- NO ENDING 「Akatsuki Records」
Wild Gangs finished 2-3-4.... what a humiliation XP
♪Race 7 BGM: 709sec. feat. YURiCa (cordelia) - The other-side 「SOUND HOLIC」
One of the best runs with a Raggio on this track in years, just a bit short for the win (again) ;P

Ahhhhh. Ridge Racer 7 shall live down in our hearts. Last time I played online was with a former friend of mine way back in 2015. It looks like I need to remove the dust out of my PS3 and play RR7 online even through I know I'll get smoked in the dust by you guys 😂!
Bro, the gap overtake at 5:50 was sick. Cool to see this classic arcade racer from 2006 still has an active community. Great video.
TBH that gap was actually big enough and I didn't have to put too much risk to get through it, but I still tapped the wall anyways ^^;

I loved the demo for this so much back when I had a PS3. Was such a sick piece of tech when I got it.
Ridge racer needs to make a comeback next year...

I really miss RR and these arcade racing games, now seems that all people only care about semi-sims (gt, forza).
Well each has it's merits, but you're right, as the technology advanced, the trend of types of racing games have also changed these days... **sigh**
Sorry i couldnt be there yesterday, had wifi problems. I mean if I was there you would;vr kicked me cuz of my wifi problems lmfao.

I get on and off of it but I never see people on :( never got to do a race online
@@killajames07 Well, I do see rooms opened at least once per day when I play solo (need the plug ins...sigh)
And I think there are more rooms opened during the week end 👍

The multiplayer is still alive? Is this online via emulation? I have RR7 on rpcs3
This is online via the PlayStation Network only, so you need a proper console to do the job. An emulator can only do offline events (I assume they didn't let you know about that).

Just get a PS3, a copy of ridge Racer 7 and hook it up to the net. And pray that someone has opened a lobby
