I went to a small school without a kitchen too. Unfortunately, my school did not call another school to send over hot dinners. If we didn't bring a lunch from home we got to select from 2 or 3 options from a specific fast-food spot. Monday was the local burger joint, Tuesday was fried seafood, Wednesday was chicken, Thursday sandwiches & Friday was pizza. The exact same choices every week. Even the kids that loved fast food, started bringing food from home after a couple of months. Maybe it was some kind of aversion therapy 😂
My bed was a loveseat and the fuzz let us keep it. We'd split off from the friends who were carrying the sofa chair - they had to take their booty back. I guess we told a better story or, more likely, got the nicer cops. A cherished memory either way
