It is very nice presentation about Single Combo XGS-PON. How do TWO XGS-PON CoMBO OLTs communicate with each other where both combo XGS-PON OLTS use different wavelengths? Could you please share some information about my query. Thanks.
Thank you for your feedback. I recommend a special document about the PON Combo feature. This document describes the working principles of the PON Combo feature. I hope it will be helpful to you. After the network change, the existing GPON ONT will receive both GPON 1490nm optical power and XGSPON 1577nm optical power. Is there any thing need to do at the existing ONT side? for example, should there be a WDM filter to block the 1577nm optical power to avoid it damage the ONT's transceiver?
Hi dear Fang Shucheng , Thank you for your feedback. Yes. After the network is changed, the GPON ONT on the live network receives both the GPON 1490 nm optical power and the XGS-PON 1577 nm optical power. Because the wavelengths are different, the GPON ONT selects the required wavelength through the internal wavelength filter.
Dear Kozhen Idres, Thank you for your feedback. Do you want to know which upstream mode can be used by the OLT to connect to a Layer 3 device (a Layer 3 switch or router)? The Layer 3 device provides 4 x 10GE interfaces.
@@HuaweiSupport thank you for the answer but i see OLT ies with 500 Gbps has 2* 40 GbE (80 Gbps) doesn't it make bottle neck ? , doesn't it create latency issue for games which is matter the most now aday

can anyone help me to learn huawei Gpon configuration i am new to gpon technology i want to learn this can anyone provide me useful links or training resource i'll be very thankful.
Thank you for your feedback. Hello, I recommend the GPON feature guide to you. You can obtain the GPON principles and basic service configurations from. I don't understand how XG-PON and XGS-PON coexist simultaneously? ruclips.net/video/JqMJ4i9_37E/видео.html Do I understand correctly, if I use XGS-PON combo board, i can connect both XG-PON and XGS-PON ONU, but what UP speed i will have for XGS - 10Gb/s or 2.5Gb/s legacy?
Dear Alexander Pischulin, Thank you for your feedback. Your understanding is correct. The XGS-PON combo board can be connected to the XGS-PON ONU and GPON ONU. For an XGS-PON ONU, both the upstream and downstream rates are 10 Gbit/s. For a GPON ONU, the upstream rate is 1.25 Gbit/s and the downstream rate is 2.5 Gbit/s. The rate of the old GPON ONU remains unchanged. If you have any other questions, leave messages in corresponding web pages.
Is huawei having ngpon2 olt cards?? Can you share some more details please?
very esplanatory video thenks to the responsible team.
