The old barbershop's roof came down, but since that place is a national historic heritage, as it was the first barbershop to be allowed to operate during the Japanese occupation, the government rebuilt and improved the place.
What a contrast to see Mr Lee's , somewhat, "space-age"-looking "workshop" to that of his original shop which, to be fair, looked like it would collapse if you slammed the door accidently. Always a pleasure to see him at work and thank you Nomad Barber for uploading this.👍

Happy to see the place getting the repairs and modernisation it well deserved. The old look had its charm, however i feared that it might get damages in case of very bad weather, or other bad stuff i'd rather not think about. Here's to hoping it will stand tall and proud for many years to come!
