Hi to everyone : I need help !!! I got this walkman (DD22) in the nineties and it worked perfectly well. I didn't use it for about 25 years. Today I put new batteries in and pressed the play button, but nothing happens, the tape doesn't "turn", nothing moves. I am so disappointed 😢. What is wrong and what do I have to do ??? Thanks a lot for any advice !!!

How do I reassemble it correctly? I took it apart not knowing there were different sized screws and when I tried putting it back together because I couldn’t get it to come apart no matter how much I pulled, one side wouldn’t come out of the case, the buttons now stick and aren’t aligned properly. Fast forward and rewind will stick in place at the same time and now I don’t know where to put which screws.

Q: I've got also a WM-DD11
Mine makes a loud buzzing thumping noice when Dolby B is off, and a very VERY high pitch sound with Dolby B on. Both get louder/higher when cranking the volume wheel
What could it be? Also bad/dead capacitors? I'd love to know, cauce I was already thinking of the capacitors
Edit. I've got the walkman just today in the post. And even without a cassette inside, it will make noice

​@@Mephysto65 there's not a simple and certain answer but could really be related to that. Changing capacitors isn't costly in the first place so it wouldn't be that bad of a loss trying.

Do you know how much space is there between the pcb and the metal back?
I´d like to put a small bluetooth transmitter inside but it would need a two small pcb´s to fit somewhere inside.

I think it's an interesting idea to add a bluetooth module. You have to try to deliver.
